Most of you using chrome right now should found out that chrome recently disabled all extensions that not from the chrome store. They claimed it is for the sake of security of the many but I say they are nazi, disabling my stuff without my permission.

However, I can show you how to re-enable all those extension including Skunk and any other extensions you may have.

1 - Locate the .crx of the extension
2 - Change the .crx to .zip
3 - Unzip the zip file into a folder
4 - Go to Chrome setting: Tools/ Extension and enable Developer mode
5 - Load unpacked extension and direct it to the folder that you extracted from the zip file before

I managed to get my Skunk extension back and it should work fine with oSokker if the developer decides that he want more of chrome's bs.

The Skunk add-on that i was talking about:

nice, I didnt know that it is possible to workaround that stupid google security policy.

So it even doesn't get disabled automatically after restarting chrome?

well it will tell you that enabling developer mode is not safe and recommend you to disable it but it is working for me

Is there a way to also do this for Firefox?
