Hello. My name is Elmar. I am from Azerbaijan, Baku City. I'm 21.
How has this experience been for you with the France? What can people expect from the France in the competition?
I have been the coach in Azerbaijan U21 national team 4 seasons. I won more than 10 matches during these each years. When I took this team, Azerbaijan were on the 43th place in ranking. When I leave Azerbaijan U21, we were 22nd place in ranking. And this is my second season with France U21. We have great and kind staff with scouts, with French people.
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
I think this is one of the most difficult group I have ever seen. It is not easy to say who will go through but I think all team's have some chances.
Which team will win the U21 World Cup?
As I said this season is hardest season for World Cup. All team's has chance for winning World Cup but anyway I think France or Croatia will win this World Cup.
Who is the most important player in your squad? Why?
I can't distinguish someone from our team. We are unity team. All our players are one of the most part of our team.
Which team do you think has the greatest potential to sursprise in this edition?
I think Switzerland has great potential to surprise.

Of course.. Being nice coach needs experiences.. I got peru from 55. in ranking to 35. in ranking.. 2 times go World Cup..
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
Very similar Group.. All of us an go up.. But I think Fance and We will go up..

What can people expect from the Turkey in the competition?
a few seasons ago we were 1. in World Cup.. Now They expect at least Semi final...

How do you compete for the U21 World Cup by another country? How has this experience been for you with the Czech Republic?
As I wrote I have some experience in U21 sokker football, but still trying to learn something new. I will try to use that exp. when working with "young czech mauls" :>
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
unfortunately Czech team has one of the hardest group. Every team is strong and hard to beat, but I think the biggest problem I will have with France U21 and Elmar, their coach. But I want to win WC again, so sorry people, Czech have to go trough :)
Which team will win the U21 World Cup?
I think Poland and Romania U21 are still the best teams, but this is football and this is sokker - everything is possible
What can people expect from the Czech Republic in the competition?
Everything - We can lose the group stage or win The Trophy! Czech U21 has its strong and weak points - but no more info about that :p

Hi, my name is Andy, and I life in Schaffhausen (near Zurich) in Switzerland. I`m 25 years old and work in a radio station.
How has this experience been for you with the Switzerland in the season?
We had a hard Qualifikation, had to fight until the last game. But we had some great results, drawed against Germany and won against Argentina and Bulgaria. All in all, it was a good season, with some problems at the beginning.
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
Everything is possible. France, Turkiye and Czech Republic are all strong. But we are too. Every team can come to the next round. If I have to choose 2 teams, I take Switzerland and Turkiye.
Which team will win the U21 World Cup?
Thats hard to say. Polska and Italia are in my eyes the best teams.
It sounds crazy, but if we come into the next round, everything is possible for us too.
What can people expect from the Switzerland in the competition?
Our aim is to pass the Group-stage. And then we will need some luck, but Top8 is possible. Be warned :)
Who is the most important player in your squad? Why?
Perhaps our striker Gionet Plüss, because he is our only really world-class striker. But I really like Franchi too. A strong defender that can play also in middfield. And we have four strong keepers.

In the last edition, Bosnia ended up eliminated in the group stage, Last season in the Qualifiers, Bosnia did a great campaign in a group that had Italy! What can people expect from the Bosnia in this edition!
Last WC we didnt have luck, and group was tough as well. This season group is even harder with 2 top tier teams so expectation are pretty low. Italy leave me alone :)

My name is Antonio, I am an expert and I work in the insurance field, football amuses me so much, and consequently also Sokker. As everyone knows we are all coaches in Italy and what better than Sokker to give vent to this character? : D
We know that Italy always has great players and so it is always a candidate for title, will be different this time? What can people expect from the Italy in the competition?
The 'Italy always has some good players and no one can deny, but in recent seasons enrollees are falling and consequently the amount of players ... we always level players but how well you know the shape and injuries will deprive us of some of them. But we are confident, we will fight for the cup.
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
Romania and Bosnia that I met last season, teams are level, then the romania is the top together with Poland, Russia has changed coach can not make a judgment. Transfer the round Italy and Bosnia.
Which team will win the U21 World Cup?
Undoubtedly Italy :)
Who is the most important player in your squad? Why?
Cristian Milano, because it is really strong for his 21 years.

You are being the coach of Russia U21 now! Is this your first time as manager of a country? What can people expect from the Russia in the competition?
Yes, it is my first time coaching a U21 and hopefully not the last. I think for Russia it would be a big success to gain 4 points after group phase, then maybe there is a little chance to get further.
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
Opponents are very strong for sure. If it takes the normal course Romania and Italy should go through. But hopefully Bosnia and Russia will not make it to easy for them.
Which team will win the U21 World Cup?
Probably one of the big sokker nations. But i would like to see a smaller country (less users) win the World Cup.
Which team do you think has the greatest potential to sursprise in this edition?
No idea, but probably one that is well organized, with a good scouting system and an experienced coach. Germany for example ;)

Some trivia: my nickname is Pavoniana, but my real name is Cristian Pavone. In Italy Pavone means peacock. My nickname and my team logo she derive precisely from this! :)
I have 34 years. I play real soccer and I have a license to football coach until the Italian fourth division.
How has this experience been for you with the Belgium? What can people expect from the Belgium in the competition?
The experience in Belgium was beautiful, like the previous one in Australia. The last season in particular has been very successful, with many wins and beautiful games played! Belgian users expect that their Under21 at least qualify to the next round! Everything that comes in is most welcome! ;)
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
Once we arrive in this phase, each round and hard and opponents should not be underestimated.
As absolute values, Suomi and Belgium are the favorites in this group. We hope it is so for real!

Hello Sokker! I'm a 31yo M.Sc. working and living in Helsinki. I'm actually waiting to become father very soon so I might give some walkovers in WC just cause I'm in the hospital with my wife.. ;) I've played Sokker for almost ten years and always had a 100% Finnish team. During the years I have won several championships, hit marks over 80, been in the CCC-final, trained the first (and only) 5 x divine Suomi-player and been the NT-coach for four seasons. But this is my first time as the U21-coach so I'm looking forward for the championships!
How has this experience been for you with the Finland in the season?
With such a limited number of users it's not so easy to find a proper line-up week after week. Nevertheless we have a really committed community so we have decent players every season. We've done pretty well and during last season we raised our ranking around 10 positions to 6th. And are aiming higher of course! ;)
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
Haven't really checked them yet, but Belgie is always strong. Kangaroos and Moldova have a chance to surprise against us but I'm assuming we and Belgium will go through.
Which team will win the U21 World Cup?
I hope it will be Suomi but I highly doubt that, wish I could use the squad we had last season.. Perhaps Poland can do it, langhe is not their coach so I don't see any reason why they shouldn't be able to win.
What can people expect from the Finland in the competition?
Depends much on the luck with injuries and red cards (+ form obviously). I think we should be able to make it to top-8, after that anything can happen.
Who is the most important player in your squad? Why?
Our best striker just got injured and will miss the group stage so I can't mention him. I'd say Jan Soinivaara is the most important player of our team, he is one of the best defenders in the game ever, so he should show it in the field (even though he is trained by the vicious "Korppi", the man who can force anyone to stop playing sokker with just one sentence).
Which team do you think has the greatest potential to sursprise in this edition?
Haven't checked the other squads, don't really even know who is in the tournament so can't mention anyone, or I'll piss someone off.. :D Let's say Suomi and Belgie, we can surprise and finish 3rd and 4th in our group.
Any words you want to tell the community?
I have made a big research during the past 5-6 years to find the weakest manager of all time and the results aren't too surprising. Here is the three weaklings:

My name is Laszló Zsolt(provenience of my sk nick:l-zsolt), from Transylvania(RO), double (romanian-hungarian) citizen, sk promoter of Hungary, past NT manager of Japan NT and Hungary U21, now working for litle kangaroos.
How has this experience been for you with the Australia? What can people expect from the Australia in the competition?
My aussie experience was very good for me, i like that people, a litle community(just 49 users), with very positive thinking people, who helps me week by week to try keeping this litle team between first 30 NT-s of the world. I have much more to work here, like in Hungary, but i like and i think: to be here with a so litle community's team looks much better, than achieving this performance with HungaryU21, where i had still a good commnity,but much more good trained youngs. Australia U21 now are'nt so good one, like in the WCQ(we losed some good players, some of them even better, like i had in Hungary), we need to recreate the U21 team after WC, based on some promissing youths.
So people don't can expect to much from us here, but i would like a honest performance, with some close results if will be possible.
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
Our opponens are so good for us now, i know the ex aussie U21 manager, Pavoniana, who makes legendary matches even with SokkeroosU21, growing up my team from 47to 27, i think, he now with BelgiumU21 are formed a strong team. I know SuomiU21, how can i forget?They got out my HungaryU21 from last WC! Suomi is a very strong SK country, even they losed a lot of users last seasons, with a lot of talented youngs and a community, who understand well, how gonna train that for big performance.
theKarsten make a big job there, they will be a very difficult opponent for us to. Moldova U21 i know from a past WCQ,they makes some very good matches then, even they recreates at that season his young team, playing with a lot of U19 players, now that generation comes here. So i expect a very good Moldavian team against us at the beginning game. So we'll have a mission impossible here...but Scotland NT was 29-th to before big NT WC and they goes to play the final:))

I think, it's time for RomaniaU21, but i expect a very strong Polish U21 team to this season.
Who is the most important player in your squad? Why?
Most important?Hm...i hope is Heath Bacak, the keeper who saved me a lot of times on matches, even he is'nt a high valued keeper, have some secret talent to expect the shots direction:)

Greatest potential to surprise here have HungaryU21.New manager makes a great WCQ season, increasing in rankings at 11 from 22.They have some very good youngs and a dedicated U21 manager.

Sokker leaves a lot of users everywhere.Is very important to help litle communitys, stoping their extinction.They are proud of his countrys, so if we wanna help them to remain here, we gonna train youths from litle countrys, making more sense for litle communitys to play this game.

Well, I am 43, andI discovered Sokker by a cousin of mine who introduced me to the game when I had swore I never would play a mane on-line again (I had just quitted OGame by then...).
I work as software developer (reason because of I feel particularly critic towads Mr Greg and his 'team', because I know myself how little can cost sometimes to make things wel done, and how the best way to enhace a product is to listen the requests of its customers/users...)
Spain has one of the best campaigns in the Qualifiers, many people expect a likely favorite to fight for the title! What can people expect from the Spain in the competition?
I guess people could expect to see something different to which they are accustomed to. We have been trying some 'unortodox' tactics, like using 3 DEFs only, and ATTs working ans MIDs (but with order of ATT), and enhancing the play with a solida and quick development in the centerfield.
BUT...
...unfortunately the result of our first qualification match might force us to return to more Sokker-orthodox plannings. A pity, but when the ME produces results so dissapointing such the one of this first match, maybe it is a call to stop trying to innovate... :(
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
I think all of them are rivals to respect. I could not point a favourite one. In fact, I would be happy enough if I could ensure Spain's qualification... ^^
Which team will win the U21 World Cup?
I couldn't say. I would like it could be our squad, of course, but I guess any squad from the top of the ranking could be the winner. U21 matches (and the ME) can bring surprises, but in the end I think that which counts is the combination players' level & regularity.
Which team do you think has the greatest potential to sursprise in this edition?
I guess Cuba. I was surprised upon seeing it to qualify, and it seems its community is thriving and lively, ad their coach daring enough, to the point of giving us some surprises.
Any words you want to tell the community?
To keep patience at a good level, and not to stay quiet and to let its opinions to be heard. I think Sokker could welcome many needed useful fixes and enhance. Unfortunately, if the forum bug/ideas is not visited by more that the few 'regulars', boredom and always-the-same-ness could some day kill definitively the game.

How do you compete for the U21 World Cup by another country? How has this experience been for you with the Czech Republic?
As I wrote I have some experience in U21 sokker football, but still trying to learn something new. I will try to use that exp. when working with "young czech mauls" :>
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
unfortunately Czech team has one of the hardest group. Every team is strong and hard to beat, but I think the biggest problem I will have with France U21 and Elmar, their coach. But I want to win WC again, so sorry people, Czech have to go trough :)
Which team will win the U21 World Cup?
I think Poland and Romania U21 are still the best teams, but this is football and this is sokker - everything is possible
What can people expect from the Czech Republic in the competition?
Everything - We can lose the group stage or win The Trophy! Czech U21 has its strong and weak points - but no more info about that :p

Hi, my name is Andy, and I life in Schaffhausen (near Zurich) in Switzerland. I`m 25 years old and work in a radio station.
How has this experience been for you with the Switzerland in the season?
We had a hard Qualifikation, had to fight until the last game. But we had some great results, drawed against Germany and won against Argentina and Bulgaria. All in all, it was a good season, with some problems at the beginning.
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
Everything is possible. France, Turkiye and Czech Republic are all strong. But we are too. Every team can come to the next round. If I have to choose 2 teams, I take Switzerland and Turkiye.
Which team will win the U21 World Cup?
Thats hard to say. Polska and Italia are in my eyes the best teams.
It sounds crazy, but if we come into the next round, everything is possible for us too.
What can people expect from the Switzerland in the competition?
Our aim is to pass the Group-stage. And then we will need some luck, but Top8 is possible. Be warned :)
Who is the most important player in your squad? Why?
Perhaps our striker Gionet Plüss, because he is our only really world-class striker. But I really like Franchi too. A strong defender that can play also in middfield. And we have four strong keepers.

In the last edition, Bosnia ended up eliminated in the group stage, Last season in the Qualifiers, Bosnia did a great campaign in a group that had Italy! What can people expect from the Bosnia in this edition!
Last WC we didnt have luck, and group was tough as well. This season group is even harder with 2 top tier teams so expectation are pretty low. Italy leave me alone :)

My name is Antonio, I am an expert and I work in the insurance field, football amuses me so much, and consequently also Sokker. As everyone knows we are all coaches in Italy and what better than Sokker to give vent to this character? : D
We know that Italy always has great players and so it is always a candidate for title, will be different this time? What can people expect from the Italy in the competition?
The 'Italy always has some good players and no one can deny, but in recent seasons enrollees are falling and consequently the amount of players ... we always level players but how well you know the shape and injuries will deprive us of some of them. But we are confident, we will fight for the cup.
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
Romania and Bosnia that I met last season, teams are level, then the romania is the top together with Poland, Russia has changed coach can not make a judgment. Transfer the round Italy and Bosnia.

Cristian Milano, because it is really strong for his 21 years.

You are being the coach of Russia U21 now! Is this your first time as manager of a country? What can people expect from the Russia in the competition?
Yes, it is my first time coaching a U21 and hopefully not the last. I think for Russia it would be a big success to gain 4 points after group phase, then maybe there is a little chance to get further.
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
Opponents are very strong for sure. If it takes the normal course Romania and Italy should go through. But hopefully Bosnia and Russia will not make it to easy for them.

Probably one of the big sokker nations. But i would like to see a smaller country (less users) win the World Cup.

No idea, but probably one that is well organized, with a good scouting system and an experienced coach. Germany for example ;)

How has this experience been for you with the Belgium? What can people expect from the Belgium in the competition?
The experience in Belgium was beautiful, like the previous one in Australia. The last season in particular has been very successful, with many wins and beautiful games played! Belgian users expect that their Under21 at least qualify to the next round! Everything that comes in is most welcome! ;)
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
Once we arrive in this phase, each round and hard and opponents should not be underestimated.
As absolute values, Suomi and Belgium are the favorites in this group. We hope it is so for real!

Hello Sokker! I'm a 31yo M.Sc. working and living in Helsinki. I'm actually waiting to become father very soon so I might give some walkovers in WC just cause I'm in the hospital with my wife.. ;) I've played Sokker for almost ten years and always had a 100% Finnish team. During the years I have won several championships, hit marks over 80, been in the CCC-final, trained the first (and only) 5 x divine Suomi-player and been the NT-coach for four seasons. But this is my first time as the U21-coach so I'm looking forward for the championships!
How has this experience been for you with the Finland in the season?
With such a limited number of users it's not so easy to find a proper line-up week after week. Nevertheless we have a really committed community so we have decent players every season. We've done pretty well and during last season we raised our ranking around 10 positions to 6th. And are aiming higher of course! ;)
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
Haven't really checked them yet, but Belgie is always strong. Kangaroos and Moldova have a chance to surprise against us but I'm assuming we and Belgium will go through.
Which team will win the U21 World Cup?
I hope it will be Suomi but I highly doubt that, wish I could use the squad we had last season.. Perhaps Poland can do it, langhe is not their coach so I don't see any reason why they shouldn't be able to win.
What can people expect from the Finland in the competition?
Depends much on the luck with injuries and red cards (+ form obviously). I think we should be able to make it to top-8, after that anything can happen.
Who is the most important player in your squad? Why?
Our best striker just got injured and will miss the group stage so I can't mention him. I'd say Jan Soinivaara is the most important player of our team, he is one of the best defenders in the game ever, so he should show it in the field (even though he is trained by the vicious "Korppi", the man who can force anyone to stop playing sokker with just one sentence).
Which team do you think has the greatest potential to sursprise in this edition?
Haven't checked the other squads, don't really even know who is in the tournament so can't mention anyone, or I'll piss someone off.. :D Let's say Suomi and Belgie, we can surprise and finish 3rd and 4th in our group.

I have made a big research during the past 5-6 years to find the weakest manager of all time and the results aren't too surprising. Here is the three weaklings:

How has this experience been for you with the Australia? What can people expect from the Australia in the competition?
My aussie experience was very good for me, i like that people, a litle community(just 49 users), with very positive thinking people, who helps me week by week to try keeping this litle team between first 30 NT-s of the world. I have much more to work here, like in Hungary, but i like and i think: to be here with a so litle community's team looks much better, than achieving this performance with HungaryU21, where i had still a good commnity,but much more good trained youngs. Australia U21 now are'nt so good one, like in the WCQ(we losed some good players, some of them even better, like i had in Hungary), we need to recreate the U21 team after WC, based on some promissing youths.
So people don't can expect to much from us here, but i would like a honest performance, with some close results if will be possible.
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
Our opponens are so good for us now, i know the ex aussie U21 manager, Pavoniana, who makes legendary matches even with SokkeroosU21, growing up my team from 47to 27, i think, he now with BelgiumU21 are formed a strong team. I know SuomiU21, how can i forget?They got out my HungaryU21 from last WC! Suomi is a very strong SK country, even they losed a lot of users last seasons, with a lot of talented youngs and a community, who understand well, how gonna train that for big performance.
theKarsten make a big job there, they will be a very difficult opponent for us to. Moldova U21 i know from a past WCQ,they makes some very good matches then, even they recreates at that season his young team, playing with a lot of U19 players, now that generation comes here. So i expect a very good Moldavian team against us at the beginning game. So we'll have a mission impossible here...but Scotland NT was 29-th to before big NT WC and they goes to play the final:))

I think, it's time for RomaniaU21, but i expect a very strong Polish U21 team to this season.

Most important?Hm...i hope is Heath Bacak, the keeper who saved me a lot of times on matches, even he is'nt a high valued keeper, have some secret talent to expect the shots direction:)

Greatest potential to surprise here have HungaryU21.New manager makes a great WCQ season, increasing in rankings at 11 from 22.They have some very good youngs and a dedicated U21 manager.

Well, I am 43, andI discovered Sokker by a cousin of mine who introduced me to the game when I had swore I never would play a mane on-line again (I had just quitted OGame by then...).
I work as software developer (reason because of I feel particularly critic towads Mr Greg and his 'team', because I know myself how little can cost sometimes to make things wel done, and how the best way to enhace a product is to listen the requests of its customers/users...)
Spain has one of the best campaigns in the Qualifiers, many people expect a likely favorite to fight for the title! What can people expect from the Spain in the competition?
I guess people could expect to see something different to which they are accustomed to. We have been trying some 'unortodox' tactics, like using 3 DEFs only, and ATTs working ans MIDs (but with order of ATT), and enhancing the play with a solida and quick development in the centerfield.
BUT...
...unfortunately the result of our first qualification match might force us to return to more Sokker-orthodox plannings. A pity, but when the ME produces results so dissapointing such the one of this first match, maybe it is a call to stop trying to innovate... :(
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
I think all of them are rivals to respect. I could not point a favourite one. In fact, I would be happy enough if I could ensure Spain's qualification... ^^
Which team will win the U21 World Cup?
I couldn't say. I would like it could be our squad, of course, but I guess any squad from the top of the ranking could be the winner. U21 matches (and the ME) can bring surprises, but in the end I think that which counts is the combination players' level & regularity.

I guess Cuba. I was surprised upon seeing it to qualify, and it seems its community is thriving and lively, ad their coach daring enough, to the point of giving us some surprises.

To keep patience at a good level, and not to stay quiet and to let its opinions to be heard. I think Sokker could welcome many needed useful fixes and enhance. Unfortunately, if the forum bug/ideas is not visited by more that the few 'regulars', boredom and always-the-same-ness could some day kill definitively the game.

How has this experience been for you with the Hungary in the season?
I think it was a good season for our. We won our WCQ group and won all match(only Soumi won against our but on this match we played very well only 1 subtitute decided...). we were improve on the ranklist a lot of.

I think Germany have a great chance to go through. I hope that we will be the other. Netherland can make a hard 90 minutes for all. I think USA have a weakest squad in the group but they can make a surprise please a win against Netherland and Germany. Go USA go:D

My name is Robert Collunder. I jumped out of the books of Ror Wolf, a german writer of surrealistic books. I play sokker since 2006, so I'm rather old and I already smell a bit.
How has this experience been for you with the Germany in the season? What can people expect from the Germany in the competition?
Germany played a adequate qualification in which I got some new experiences. I had to find a way to deal with the abilities of the young players what are somewhere between my first team and my youth team. Luckily we have a great NT-stuff in Germany that helped me a lot and hopefully will do so during the next couple of weeks.
We have a competitive team. So I expect somewhat between reaching the eightfinals and the quarterfinals. The more matches the better.
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
Well, we have Hungary in our group. A country with more than 1.000 managers is always an opponent we have to count on. The Netherlands also have an excellent team. The USA seems to be the weakest team of the group but nevertheless we first have to beat them.
Which team will win the U21 World Cup?
Hopefully the team that deserves it mostly.
Who is the most important player in your squad? Why?
Definitely our keeper Cedric Stief. He's the little Manuel Neuer of our team and nearly as cool as he is.

To be honest: I didn't have a close look at the teams yet. All the teams that participate at this WC will do their best to win as many matches as possible. There are a lot of really experienced managers which are tactically much more gifted than me. Everything seems to be possible.

I'm 24yo. Started my romance with sokker in year 2006. Generally i used to train young players and sell them with profit. Now i care little bit more about the score. In real life i'm also a football coach.
What is the feeling of being the coach of his country in a World Cup? How is the pressure of being the coach of Poland which is the current world champion?
The feeling caused by participating in WC is of course very exciting. It's my first time leading NT and logically first time in World Cup. I was and i am still waiting for the first game on this tournament. I will regard World Cup as a sweet reward for hard work in scouting, preparations etc. There is a big pressure for sure after winning 2 World Cups in a row, but i do not feel it right now. We are not the biggest favorite in this race with this generation of players.
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
I kinda felt that we will meet Brazil in the group stage, they will go through for sure. Azerbaijan has also good players, it will not be easy to play against them. Montenegro is a debutant in WC, they have smart coach, we played two times against them in qualifiers, so they know us well.

The one who will be lucky with forms of players, maybe Spain?

I can say only about the previous generation of players, do not want to make things easier for my rivals:) I liked the most my ex junior that came out from my youth school and few seasons later i saw him playing for me in NT:) - Emil Burlikowski, wonderfull def-mid.

They can expect that we will try to make the competition boring by winning it again:) In case we didn't win, we will run away with trophy on a desert and you will not find us:D

How has this experience been for you with the Brazil? What can people expect from the Brazil in the competition?
It was great. We worked hard to prepare these 2 seasons.

Yes, this is a debut of Montenegro U21 national team in World cup, people in Montenegro were so happy for that :D Yes, that it was extremely difficult for us to qualify for the world championship, because we came from 4-th hat, but in last match, I played with Scotland 0:0, with good result in the other game Poland vs Portugal, and that was enough to go on World Cup. But for sure, crucial match was against Portugal and win of 2:0 :D
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
I don't know, but this is a tough group for us, strong opponents, and will not be easy for us to go in the next faze. I think Poland will go in next faze, but name of second team will be known in last match, I hope so, that that is team Montenegro U21 :D

There is a lot of teams who can win, but I think Polska or Romania...

In last season, I had one player in the middle Nenad Matkovic, who was a leader of team, but now, maybe Živojin Krnojelac who plays on def position and he will be commandant of last line, and I expect a lot from the player Miloš Šaranović, who plays as a striker.

We had some ups and downs and I'm not quite satisfied with the performance, but we qualified for the championship and that's the most important.

I think all the teams are leaded by good coaches and I expect no white flag in any game. Lietuva is in a winning series and I believe they will reach next stage, but both Hellas and Cuba has a chance as well. Of course, I expect Serbia to qualify to the second round.

If we don't lose a game we should win the Cup :P Beside us, Poland, Italy, Romania has a great team, as well...

You are being the coach of Eesti U21 now! But as you were the coach of South Africa U21, how was the experience? Do you think it will help you in this competition?
It definately helped me, but Estonia is a better team and the pressure is higher because we are competing in the World Cup this season.
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
I really don't know what to expect. I know around 10-15 players skills in Estonia, it doesn't seem the best generation this year... I think Croatia and Bulgaria to go ahead maybe?

Poland will probably win, safe bet. :)
What can people expect from the Eesti in the competition?
It's too early to say, I wouldn't say that we are even favourites in our group, but I'll try to do my best.

Uuno Moor is probably the player we can't afford to lose to injury or suspension, because he's the best striker we have, he's miles ahead of others.

With the Argentina U21 I had great results, although classified in 2nd place behind Suomi, I've only lost two games all season, so we've had excellent results, hope we can have a great WC.

Without a doubt, perhaps the strongest group of strong World Cup, the 4 teams will have options. I hope Argentina and Croatia to pass the group stage.

My favorites are Romania, Poland and Belgium.

We have many good players, but certainly Salvador Egri is our best player.

How has this experience been for you with the Croatia in the season? What can people expect from the Croatia in the competition?
Well I have been U21 coach two seasones before this and have been in scouting teams for some time in my country so I know that this job is not just fun, there are some hard work. But nothing is hard if in the end you see that it was worth it.
In the past season I was forcing younger players in friendly and in most matches in group stage and this seasone it will be the same except of course in the World Cup, there will play only the best. Hope to pass to knockout stages and in one game anything is possible.
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
Some of the cometary when the group were drawn was that this is one of the toughest groups in the WC. My thoughts are the same, really tough opponents and I hope that Hrvatska will go trough but any two team can do it.

I think it was a good season for our. We won our WCQ group and won all match(only Soumi won against our but on this match we played very well only 1 subtitute decided...). we were improve on the ranklist a lot of.

I think Germany have a great chance to go through. I hope that we will be the other. Netherland can make a hard 90 minutes for all. I think USA have a weakest squad in the group but they can make a surprise please a win against Netherland and Germany. Go USA go:D

My name is Robert Collunder. I jumped out of the books of Ror Wolf, a german writer of surrealistic books. I play sokker since 2006, so I'm rather old and I already smell a bit.
How has this experience been for you with the Germany in the season? What can people expect from the Germany in the competition?
Germany played a adequate qualification in which I got some new experiences. I had to find a way to deal with the abilities of the young players what are somewhere between my first team and my youth team. Luckily we have a great NT-stuff in Germany that helped me a lot and hopefully will do so during the next couple of weeks.
We have a competitive team. So I expect somewhat between reaching the eightfinals and the quarterfinals. The more matches the better.
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
Well, we have Hungary in our group. A country with more than 1.000 managers is always an opponent we have to count on. The Netherlands also have an excellent team. The USA seems to be the weakest team of the group but nevertheless we first have to beat them.
Which team will win the U21 World Cup?
Hopefully the team that deserves it mostly.
Who is the most important player in your squad? Why?
Definitely our keeper Cedric Stief. He's the little Manuel Neuer of our team and nearly as cool as he is.

To be honest: I didn't have a close look at the teams yet. All the teams that participate at this WC will do their best to win as many matches as possible. There are a lot of really experienced managers which are tactically much more gifted than me. Everything seems to be possible.

I'm 24yo. Started my romance with sokker in year 2006. Generally i used to train young players and sell them with profit. Now i care little bit more about the score. In real life i'm also a football coach.
What is the feeling of being the coach of his country in a World Cup? How is the pressure of being the coach of Poland which is the current world champion?
The feeling caused by participating in WC is of course very exciting. It's my first time leading NT and logically first time in World Cup. I was and i am still waiting for the first game on this tournament. I will regard World Cup as a sweet reward for hard work in scouting, preparations etc. There is a big pressure for sure after winning 2 World Cups in a row, but i do not feel it right now. We are not the biggest favorite in this race with this generation of players.
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
I kinda felt that we will meet Brazil in the group stage, they will go through for sure. Azerbaijan has also good players, it will not be easy to play against them. Montenegro is a debutant in WC, they have smart coach, we played two times against them in qualifiers, so they know us well.

The one who will be lucky with forms of players, maybe Spain?
Who is the most important player in your squad? Why?
I can say only about the previous generation of players, do not want to make things easier for my rivals:) I liked the most my ex junior that came out from my youth school and few seasons later i saw him playing for me in NT:) - Emil Burlikowski, wonderfull def-mid.

They can expect that we will try to make the competition boring by winning it again:) In case we didn't win, we will run away with trophy on a desert and you will not find us:D

I am the coach of Cuba U21, but in reality there is a federation, "Amici di Cuba" (friends of Cuba), founded by my friend Re_Ietto, which deals with the growth of the team and of the movement, training Cubans talents, interacting with Cuban managers, promoting contests on sk Cuba to stimulate and reward the best youth Cuban academies and best Cuban youth players.

How has this experience been for you with the Bulgaria
in the season? What can people expect from the Bulgaria in the competition?
I`m coаch of the team from several seasons and this can help me, because i know our players and their potential. We have a perfect NT Database (thanks to sviktorov) and it makes my work easier. People can expect from us attacking football, because game is for fun and fun is goals, emotions... With some luck people can expect somethiung big from us. We can surprise all. :)
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
I think really, really strong group... Each team can overcome group stage. Really strong, quality and balanced teams with good and motivated coaches. Will be great games!

My dream is Bulgaria to be the world champion.... but we will soon... :)

All the players are important... from goalkeeper to striker. We will play attacking football and for us most important are strikers.

I'm 22 years old and living in a beautiful island called Saaremaa.
You are being the coach of Eesti U21 now! But as you were the coach of South Africa U21, how was the experience? Do you think it will help you in this competition?
It definately helped me, but Estonia is a better team and the pressure is higher because we are competing in the World Cup this season.
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
I really don't know what to expect. I know around 10-15 players skills in Estonia, it doesn't seem the best generation this year... I think Croatia and Bulgaria to go ahead maybe?
Which team will win the U21 World Cup?
Poland will probably win, safe bet. :)
What can people expect from the Eesti in the competition?
It's too early to say, I wouldn't say that we are even favourites in our group, but I'll try to do my best.
Who is the most important player in your squad? Why?
Uuno Moor is probably the player we can't afford to lose to injury or suspension, because he's the best striker we have, he's miles ahead of others.
Which team do you think has the greatest potential to sursprise in this edition?
I haven't done the background check yet, but I hope Estonia surprises all others. :)

It's my 2nd season with the Argentina U21 before I was in the Bolivia U21, will be my first WC, I hope to have a good season. -
How has this experience been for you with the Argentina in the season? What can people expect from the Argentina in the competition?
With the Argentina U21 I had great results, although classified in 2nd place behind Suomi, I've only lost two games all season, so we've had excellent results, hope we can have a great WC.
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
Without a doubt, perhaps the strongest group of strong World Cup, the 4 teams will have options. I hope Argentina and Croatia to pass the group stage.
Which team will win the U21 World Cup?
My favorites are Romania, Poland and Belgium.
Who is the most important player in your squad? Why?
We have many good players, but certainly Salvador Egri is our best player.
Which team do you think has the greatest potential to sursprise in this edition?
Argentina never got the eightfinals, it is time that Argentina can spring a surprise.

Hi! My name is Tomislav, 32yo, degree in electrical engineering, live in the most beautiful country in the world :)
How has this experience been for you with the Croatia in the season? What can people expect from the Croatia in the competition?
Well I have been U21 coach two seasones before this and have been in scouting teams for some time in my country so I know that this job is not just fun, there are some hard work. But nothing is hard if in the end you see that it was worth it.
In the past season I was forcing younger players in friendly and in most matches in group stage and this seasone it will be the same except of course in the World Cup, there will play only the best. Hope to pass to knockout stages and in one game anything is possible.
What do you think about your opponents in the group? Who will go through?
Some of the cometary when the group were drawn was that this is one of the toughest groups in the WC. My thoughts are the same, really tough opponents and I hope that Hrvatska will go trough but any two team can do it.

Well we dont have any big stars but I would say our goalkeeper Trpimir Panić is really important for our team.

Congratulations for the title, what goes through the minds now that the goal was achieved?
I just wish to relax, it was an incredible pressure over my head with these World Cup finals, very intense, and I would like to take few weeks for my other projects. Of course, I will start looking for to the U19 and U20 Romanian players, prepare the next generation for the next coach (and now I answered to the third question), but right now i just wish to enjoy the moment.
What was the most exciting game for you?
All these games have their specific elements, even in the stage phase. But the most exiciting was the game against Italy, in quarter finals. It was very difficult, because Italy was the strongest team in this World Cup and Romania's team had three of his best players with (serious) injuries.
Will remain as coach to defend his title or will terminate their cycle as a U21 Coach?
I don't know yet. But 99% i will try in another country.. maybe Brasil? :)
I want to give a thank you to all the coaches and people who helped answering the questions asked for this guide to get a lot of information! My English is not the best, but even then I did again this guide, The coaches have yet to respond, may still answer the questions that I put in the guide!
