Subject: Sokker Manager 2.0 Public Release
Well, I'm pleased to announce the Sokker Manager Version 2.0 (Public Release: non-beta, all reported bugs and all enhancement requests that were approved have been resolved and included).
The Sokker Manager page is here: Sokker Manager
There is also a runtime engine available at this time for users who do NOT have Microsoft Access 2003.
Sokker Manager is currently English-only.
High-level description of current functionality:
- Downloads player data, match data automatically
- Player and Junior summaries with sorting capability, color-coding skill increase/decrease
- Calculates training (what was trained, and how effectively for each player), pops, talent of the player (weeks trained / pops)
- Player detail display including training, current skills, # pops, shows best and average match rating for each position, etc. Can scroll through all of the loaded weeks.
- Has graphs of player skills
- Download and graph of youth skills, evaluation of youth talent
- Automatic generation of detailed and formatted Player Posting
- Reports: Player pops, Training Detail, Training Weekly Analysis
If you find an error, PLEASE tell me the screen that you were on, the button or function that you were doing, and the exact text of the error message (or description of what should have happened but didn't if there's no message).

Special thanks to Bluezero, -billy-, loop ts1442 for extensive testing and feedback (bluezero and -billy- went through some pretty frustrating tests). And to jonandabby for functionality discussions.
Also to ArnauDuran for hosting support (the runtime engine is still hosted on his site, even).

My current wish list includes some graphics improvement. If anyone who has some free time on their hands is a graphics artist, let me know. I'd love some help with new button images.
fantastic!
as someone without the correct ms access i cant wait to start using this :D

I am not sure if i will be creating other languages, as the program has a LOT that would need to be translated (just the match report would be a large effort). If there is someone who is fluent in polish and english and knows programming (preferably Access, tho i may give some sort of spreadsheet)
If i do translation i'll do other languages after polish.

When trying to download my data, it says 'the system cannot find the data specified'.
Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

1) Has anyone gotten the runtime to work?
2) Has anyone with Windows SP2 or greater had PROBLEMS with the runtime?

The runtime worked. I think this program has great options, but I don't like it till now. Everythink is in a new screen and I get lots of errors. It's also a bit complicated to find out how it works, and what it can do.
If you're getting errors then it's not working, lol.
And you've been using a complicated program for what, 5 minutes, and expected to understand it all?

I've just downloaded the runtime, downloaded data and looked for a few minutes into the program and got no errors til now :)
More when I used it for more time...

It's working, but some options are giving errors. And, of course, you did great work, but it isn't friendly for users yet.
