Subject: Sokker Manager 2.0 Public Release

It's working, but some options are giving errors. And, of course, you did great work, but it isn't friendly for users yet.

I need to know what is giving errors. There were no errors on the non-runtime version, so if you are getting some, things are not working with the runtime version that were working with the access-2003 version.

When reporting an error: PLEASE tell me the screen that you were on, the button or function that you were doing, and the exact text of the error message (or description of what should have happened but didn't if there's no message). If you can't be bothered with at least that much help in trying to fix issues, please don't bother me with saying that it's buggy. This was a lot of work.

And i would appreciate it if you gave it more than 10 minutes of time, in which things were not working, before you determine if it is user friendly or not, lol.

It is not. Sokkermon is, this isn't. I'll surely give it some time because it has great abilities (I've not seen a Sokker tool in which you can manually update your youth in case you just downloaded the program). I think developers always like it if they what users think of it. And I will report errors.

I can't do everything in one time, it was my first feedback after clicking around a few minutes.

Finally a tool that keeps track of weeks to pop, minutes played, performance in that week, ... .

I needed to adapt the agenda first, as we're not going into week 15 but into week 0 !!

Now that I'm trying to adapt the data so data of previous weeks is included also, I have a question/bug for you.

I train PM and have a player that plays as ATT on sunday and as MID on wednesday. But when I watch the Trained % for week it only gives 19 % and not 90 or 95 like it does for other players.

I think I found the problem. I found the same error for another player that played on two different positions that week. It looks like your program looks to the sunday game as last game in the week.

Probably this error is caused because of tha difference in time format between Europe and USA.

Sokkermon has about 1/10th of the functionality, of course this would be more complex.

I definitely want feedback, but "there are errors" or "it's not user friendly" isn't helpful. Try "I had trouble finding out how to do ____" or "where is ____" or "there's an error after i click button x on form y - the error message is z".

It shold consider wed game, not sunday. What player, and what did set up as having trained last week for what position (pm for mid??)?

Oh, and i'd STRONGLY suggest you don't mess with the calendar. That's the official sokker calendar, if you mess with it i won't be helping you fix it ;)

I get this message at other places too. After this an empty screen with an OK button appears which you have to press.

try using the download button instead of the matches screen to download matches. Have you already downloaded your players?

Do you have Windows SP2 installed or a previous version?

Look at my week 14 games and line-ups.

Yes, I have the correct training set-up.
About the calendar : I only moved everything one week, so that can't be the problem.

When I use the download button I get the same screen and after that I get a screen that tells me that players are downloaded, nothing about matches, so I guess it is te same error.

Just one little thing: I started now downloading old matches, from the beginning, I klicked on 9 previous pages, not known, how much they are really.

Then I got the message "The first supported date is 28. August 2005 and so on", and now I can for each match of 7 month, who are older, klick on this message...

Would be better if I get this message once, and then the program doesn't download all other older matches without this message?

Yeah, that'd be better. Or you could just do less than 9 pages of matches... I'll disable 9 pages worth and only let you do 5 pages worth for the next release.

The warning message is in a function that's used everywhere, i don't want to change that message.

I think i should have just fixed that issue. Plz download again at some point and verify.
