Is it still only for Windows XP sp2?
2006-07-28 20:22:24
I believe so, but you can try it with previous, i have no idea if it will work or not (let me know :).

You can always install sp2 if you have admin rights, it's only going to help your computer i'd expect...

If you have windows 98SE, i'm pretty confident it won't work lol.

really? oww...
well, I won't risk installing the Acess 2003 thing then
2006-07-28 20:58:47
I'd say that's a good idea :)

it took my awhile to figure out exactly how to get it working, but once I got it going, I love it.

However, I did get an error. I got this error when I was importing data.

An error occurred while Inserting Junior History for Brock Head. DAO.Database-->Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression "Going to Update Adin O'Toole', #2006-7-28#').

I looked at my juniors, and I have everything up until Brock Head. Everything after that is missing. Also, on my training it says training for weeks (starting at june something, and going to the week before this) is missing. that's not really a big deal, but I just thought i'd throw that out there.

Thanks for making this program. It is definately useful for me.

EDIT: Ok nevermind, I was ignorant. I am missing alot of juniors. I have Brock Head, 5 weeks, but not Adin O'Toole, 5 weeks (who's right before brock), and another ahead of O'Toole at 4 weeks. Plus everything week 16-28 (with the exception of Sterling Ali at 16), and another guy at 12 weeks.

Frick, bet that's a problem with the apostrophe.

I'll look into that.

The training is missing because you have to manually enter the training for each week. The UI to enter it is pretty friendly, but you need to do it sooner or later. The system then takes that training, looks at minutes played and position, and figures out how effectively they were trained... This is combined with # of pops to generate that all-important GTF rating which is so much better than weeks/pop (ie i could have ubertalent who gets 10weeks/pop because he's playing mid and i'm training striker).

alright, thanks.

ps, see my edit above about the missing juniors.

It's the apostrophe. I'll work on it.

Have you tested the program with Access from Office XP instead Office 2003?
