Thanks. At first, sorry for injury player.
Match was balanced. My team was better in combination and mayby in first half was better team. Statistics are not precisely. But in second half you were better and i could lost this match. Overall, i think, that you chose bad tactic. You cleared centre and i can combinate with much worse mids than you have.

I swore to Indonesia managers, that I made everything for their..... our team. :D My dream was World Cup and I am here. My dream was a point from World Cup and I have a point now. This is a big way of Indonesia U21 from 61. place. Maybe you are not happy, because I used bad grass :D. But I am happy, because this point is my gift for Indonesia managers. :D This is Indonesian fairy tale and I swear, that show must go on....

I do not know what is worse, the fact itself or the attempt to justify what was done!

There's nothing to justify. There are a set of choices (tactics, players, home field, substitutions...) available to NT coaches to try and score points. He used those choices to try and get the best result possible. He's responsible when choices work out and when they don't.
It's bad that it leads to increased injury risk, but otherwise a pitch in poor condition is typically most detrimental to the team with better skill, so it made sense to make that choice. Then the outcome could have been 4 injured Indonesian players and a 0-5 defeat. But this time his gamble paid off.
When I was NT coach, I always chose good pitches, because it made sense to my team, but I always chose the dimensions carefully for each match. You have the same choice set for your home matches.

Coaches decide what to do with their choices to win, not what to do with the opponent's choices so they are easier to beat.

changing the stage of both sub21 and NT games was the worst tool implemented in the game.

wants to win? do a tactic for this, but do not use the playing field for this.

only the tactically limited make that choice !!

im sure when greg implemented the grass option he did not think that that will be used as weapon on world cup ... its just does not makes sense. Changing field size is one thing using crap field on world cup in my personal opinion goes in category using existing bugs. Its personal manager choice if they will use it or not but if this become practice i do not think i will keep leading an NT. Im stunned that some one even will think about it and even tries to defend his action. Totally disappointed :(

Got our 1st point of this season World Cup. Congrats coach! Now let's try to get another ;)

And as my ex-boss once told me when it comes about work: "don't be nice, be smart." :D

If Switzerland had to win that game, they will win no matter which pitch condition there are. Nothing bad, players could also be injured in perfect conditions, and all of us use another methods to try to win games. Congratulations Indonesia for 1 point.
