Can I request that the columns sort descending by default?
Also, the Value and Salary fields are very wide... is it an alignment issue? Seems to be for most of the text fields.
And in the formula calculator, my players with low form are listed to have a higher rating "without form" than "with form". Is the value normalised to the average form of the team or something?
It would be nice to have a column like the "pos" column in Apollo which shows the maximum rating in any position for that player. It's good to be able to rank your players according to their best rating.
I'd also like to be able to make the name column a bit wider on the squad page but it wont resize.
Other than that, thanks for the tool. I'm finding it has a lot of features that the others dont. Very useful indeed. :D

If you click on the column header (its name) you can change the sorting status. HOver the mouse on the headers for more info.

After the value changes (after a week or so), on the empty space you'll see the change amount, green if it's positive, red for negative.
Nevertheless, you can resize the columns at will, and the program remembers the width you've assigned.

No, form is calculated as an individual modifier only. Check the formula editor (ALT-F) and play with it to see what's going on.

Scroll the squad table to the right.

That is a "special" column. For now it can't be resized (this is a programatic limitation).

You're welcome :)

Yes, but can you swap it so:
click = DESC
shift+click = ASC
Check the formula editor (ALT-F) and play with it to see what's going on.
Lucas Crampton
with form = 14.1
without form = 17.6
Can you explain that to me?

I scrolled right but I can't see an Overall rating for each player (unless you are going on salary). Is one of those columns an overall skill rating?
Also, I have about 30 weeks of data in Apollo. I assume there's no way to import the data into Sokker Organiser?

No, sorry. Otherwise the default sorting criteria for the names would be descending as well, and that would be weird ;)

ahh, I see. The formula considers form=8.5 (17/2) as the neutral value, so any level below that decreases the the player rating with form.

ahh, you want 1 column of the best rating from all positions. I'll add that. (currently there are 10 columns, 1 for each position, showing the rating of the player in that position).

Not automatically for the moment.
It is quite complex since Apollo doesn't save standard XMLs (it does not save the same file it downloads from sokker.org, but one modified by the Internet Explorer xml viewer). It has several minus signs ('-') at the beggining of some lines.
You can convert it to a valid XML by replacing :
'- <' (minus space less-than)
with
' <' (space space less-than)
After that, you have to check whether the charset encoding of the XML is correct (set in the first line).
If everything fine, you should be able to open it with any browser without errors showing up.

I'd like to enter in my junior school history manually. What do I need to do?
I have created new XML files in data/xml/ following your naming convention. How do I register the new (back-dated) XML files with SO?

Data menu → Import → XML files (or press ALT+X)
you wrote a whole bunch of juniors XMLs manually? wow
