changes since 0.72:

+ improved Logo Maker with new options.
+ implemented feature to download matches by a list if IDs.
+ minimum time to be considered as Played in a Match reduced to 30 minutes.
+ coloured shirt icons to distinguish positions played in last match (PilM).

unable to log in

sokker is not completely operational yet. Wait until devs say it is ok.

Danny should I download the new version,or I can continue with the former one?

From where to edit the IP?

click on Download all => "Use an Http proxy" => and you past the new adress into "proxy hostname(or IP)" ;)

So yes, you shoul dupgrade ;)
Note that the internal data format has changed over time, and only contiguous versions are backward compatible, so you will most likely need to reimport your XML files (I suppose you've kept them for backup).
