Subject: [SO] Sokker Organizer BETA public releas
This program doesn't seem to have as many functions as Sokker Manager.... I'll be trying out that one.
Indeed, but the functions that are enabled are very tested and nearly bug-free.
edit: it's just 2 different aproaches of releasing software in progress.

Hey, there are no bugs that i know of in sokker manager, don't be disparaging my program ;)
In the alpha and beta releases, i made it clear it was for debugging purposes, but only 2 real bugs have been identified since the public release (the calendar issue, and the lack of sorting capability for runtime users), and both have been resolved in today's 2.1 release.

I didn't mean that :)
I just 2 different ways of releasing and debugging it.
Mine is to release new functions only to a small group of "alpha testers" and then release to the general public after these functions have been thouroughly tested and debugged.

That's what i did too. The alpha test period was limited to about 5 users. Beta i had about 10. When i released it to the public, there were only 2 bugs that were identified. The 2.1 release was to add new functionality (usability enhancements, improved sorting, posting, currency converter, etc) mostly.

New version!
# 25/08/2006 version 0.23 released:
o More Tool Tips.
o HTML data pages download implemented, albeit the data is only stored for the time being, not used.
o Junior School - added 3 columns: "Projected Level", "Weeks since last pop" and "Money spent".
o Country selection option.
If upgrading from a previous version you might have to reimport your XML files. (this won't happen once we get out of Beta).
