this is too agresive... If see it, i feel like eyes problem...

but not problem...

- your first darker green was better in contrast.
- The shadow "blur" the typography and finally readability, you dont need this style for datas in table.
- Bold make sense with skills (8 and higher) but you dont need bold for ages and value since these values semantically are not particular "strong" or "better" than any other value.

The problem I see:

But a light green can't be read:



The only solution I have found is the shadow:

You mean for the shadows ? Well dark green on black shadow not a surprise it doesn't work, always a question of color contrast.

Your first screenshot is simple and enough effective for me. Why you need more highlight for skills columns (last screen) ?

Also if you really need more highlight you can use 'pills' (white on green/red background), take a look at Sktables

is there a chance to align all the columns to be beneath each other, regardless of player's names?
all 4 categories have a different arrangement and it's hard for me to follow and compare training pops
