Subject: NEWS Sokker- big changes are coming!
+1 11 is the minimum.
a lineup contains 11+5 players.
if you want play correctly, for training, you cannot exclude 6 players from your lineup, this is logical but devs think otherwise
sometimes they want realistic sometimes not, this is sokker

agree with 11 trainings slots making more sense and also it would help to deal with problem of lack of older players on TL in the future since we are told we will need wider squads, but there will be less players trained.
I think it would be nice to let the actual numbers of slots (Per order) - 9, 15, 33.
With the new upcoming training system
So the farm / trading teams and the users available 24/7 on the transfer market can trade even more ?
No thanks...
I don't understand all the hate against this reform.
Sure this is restrictive but this is the same for all users and there is no luck involved like for the injuries issues.
Imo this restriction is what makes the training and sokker interesting.

Well, the training system will change that is okey. So if I train for example defensice midfielders and attacking midfielders, that is good. I take with mid option the attacking players, whe I train technique on one week, and the def.midfielders get tackling training with def option.
But if I have some midfielders have with too high passing skills or too high playmaking skill. I would trian someone passing with MID option, and I would train some of them DEF option to give playmaking skill for example. In this system the playmaking training not so effective if we take the players in DEF option. My question is that in the new training system will be the playmaking or passing wit DEF option will be same effective as mid option?
This change would be really good. We could train our players with more effective.

I posted an idea about this in Bugs/Ideas forum - make paid extra training spots - make them cost enough to not be profitable for trading for the most part. But offer a chance to support that bigger roster that the devs push for so hard. Otherwise you are forced to get 30+ years old players who lose value quickly as you cant train all of the younger guys. And game in general cant support the fact, that everyone should expand their roster from 12-14 to 14-16+ guys.
Alternatively - make players stop training at ~29 like now. But let them keep skills for some season and start dropping at like 32 so the extra players can come from older ages.

They must change this, but it's not clear in the last DD.

They should make something like this:
At 30: Pace and stamina starts dropping, slowly of course.
At 32: Every skill starts dropping, slowly.
Example:
30 yo - week 1
11/0
18/14
15/15
17/10
34 yo - week 1
3~4/0
14~15/12
14/15
17/8

I think stamina is the main point and should have more impact, I have young players dropping in stamina and old players with 10~11 in that skill :s.

and yet i had player who stayed 16 pace from 30 to 35....... pace could be a bit less random and slower yes..... but normally they drop 2-3 levels from 30 to 34
i was just stating his example was how it is now

Individual cases can be all over the place.
In either way - everyone is expected to have broader rosters - either these players come from somewhere(more juniors/training spots or older players stays usable longer) or overall quality of rosters will fall and game will become less enjoyable on top of price increase for players (which is already happening).

i agree :) i was just pointing out that older players needed even further durability then he stated, as he was given a somewhat realistic view of how a player could detoriate now (except stamina)
Stamina should at least maintain for as long as the player is playing matches.
There can be made gradations on how many minutes a player needs at which age to maintain a level of excellent stamina.
Say f.e. a 30y old player needs 1 match (90 minutes), each week, to maintain a level of excellent.
31, needs 100 minutes to maintain a level of excellent or 90 minutes to maintain a level of very good.
32, needs 110 minutes for excellent, 100 minutes for very good and 90 for solid etc...
Injuries will reduce the stamina level with max 1 level for the duration of the injury, to prevent complete destruction for older players
at least... that's how I feel it should and could be. :-)
