Problem is that playing for results isn't as rewarding as farming.
Maybe raising rewards to achieve goals, like winning the competition, or the cup, or meeting board / club / fans / sponsor expectations, should be rewarded much much much more, but in return, player wages should be waaaay higher.
And then ditch the lottery system for coach recruitment.

Well duh, you already get rewarded more than teams who get worse results, that's not what we're talking about...

You want much bigger rewards for teams than now, which could lead to top teams staying at the top all the time, with teams unable to climb up the ladder, because teams that are already better would be getting much more money than them, so improving could end up as close to impossible or requiring farming/trading for a long time. That's the issue. Would you like that to happen?

There should be a balance so both is possible to get profit on. Right now competitive is tremendous expensive because players lose value. This is the reason why many farm, that you dont get monetary reward for results, but if you stay low you can improve your total team/club value much faster.

But more money For competitive results should not be huge like training is, but more is needed.

Another really good solution to deal with the problem, is if youth players raise wage after how much they were bought for last. So that it isnt so easy to buy talents and resale as profit will be cut by the increased wage. This would also counter the inflation more competitive rewards would cause.

What they should balance would be the rewards in each league in each country, it is always the same countries and communities that win international competitions, which limits other communities from being motivated to play, and even more so for new users who see it as so far away from having good teams, I am not saying that it is easy, but that it is more friendly to the new user, in my country normally many new people enter and stop playing because of the economic difference between the last division and the one that follows it

Competitions money have nothing to do with international tournaments. Its a cost to compete. And the more competitive the league is, the more expensive players it demands.

There is nothing wrong with balance between countries, competition money is bad everywhere.

I think results should bring up more money because i'ts non sense that winning a league only gives you 1 week of salary or less.

But always farming should bring more money, the problem isn't that, the problem is that the system makes you choose between one of them because you if you want to train/farm, you need to make 16-18 y old players play in official matches. People should train only with friendly matches.

So people can farm and compete.

I agree with that.

There could be an u21 league.
Junior league could be removed, does not really serve any purpose, apart from making better prediction on the skill, which does not really bring anything to the game.

If we want to stop farming teams I think the only way is age restriction of the players in advanced training. For example, four slots for U21 players, three slots for 22-25 and three for over 26y.

It would make it much slower to hoard money by training 16-17y and then splashing the cash all at once on a generation's best trainees creating a superteam. You can't make a ton of money training 22-25y and over 26y slots gonna be basically useless if you're not competing.

But I know it's a quite radical idea, and maybe there are a number of issues I'm not figuring out right now. For example, gonna be harder for newbies to catch up quickly, but its inevitable - if it is easy for newbies to make money fast, it will be even easier for the experienced ones.

I like this idea.

For new teams im sure its programmable to start with 6 spots u21; And 4 21 and higher.
After 1 season 5 spots u21; 3 21 till 26; 2 26 and older.
After 2 season 4 spots u21; 3 21 till 26; 3 26 and older.

Age restrictions will make it hard for players who age from one restriction to the other. I also think that youth should merge with U21 and then people should be able to train 10 U21 players and 10 A-team players.
But the youth should form players with at least 1 high position skill, like f.e. defender, up to max divine. This will make the restriction of position skills (right column) more meaningfull. You want to train another position skill...then play him on that order within the match. But since his right column skill is high, the player has ''formed'' his key position within the U21 group, as it should be!

Haven't thought about it in detail, so please don't shoot to heavy...

why not transfering the whole training system + games to the youth academy?

- youth entering YS are generated with visible skills.
- 10 youths are trained acc. to minutes played, you define training skills the same way you do for seniors.
- more training fun every week
- estimation of talent takes still about 3-4 weeks.
- 20 yo divine juniors are not worthless anymore. you can train them very selectively in the skills
- spending a training spot to 16/17yo seniors is not worth it.
- you define, when you pull them to senior.
