They were convinced that promotion/relegation formula makes more sense, so results will matter. And it’s a league/then cup, so 6 games guaranteed for everyone.

Hopefully the promotion/relegation does get imported well, and that this has a sizeable influence on other parts of the game (ie fanclub members).
League followed by cup is a big improvement on a cup only, so whilst League by itself would be better, it is at least a compromise which is good

Yup, I'm very happy they agreed to revise their original idea. Not sure about the details like influence on sponsors etc. but logically fanclub influence should be the same as in normal cup / league games since it's just a 1v1 system based on current fanclub of both teams.

Personally I would be a fan of only league system, but I understand their issues with it. Every team could basically decide to play only in National League or only in International League, while training youngsters for profit in the other competition.

Whilst I can see that happening, if your sponsorship/fanclub members is equally based on the results of each competition, then people can choose if they want to do what you suggest and hope their training earns them more to be competitive in the other competition, or whether they want to compete/pick and choose which games to play trainees, in an effort to maximise their fanclub members/sponsorship/crowd attendence.

It actually brings more tactics into the game.

Another example of tactics with that above scenario would be to play weak against a few teams you wouldn't beat anyway, but then go full strength against a team who may think you are going to play weak. It actually brings extra excitement imo.

Even now it occurs, teams may choose to focus on the cup or the league. Teams choose to not focus on league at all for 5-10seasons, so they build money to have a push in the 6th or 11th season. These are just choices that add to the game, not necessarily negative ones as even team in real life (which I am always wary of comparing a game to real life) will pick and choose the competitions they send their full squad to, when they are going to inject money, when they go through a building phase, when they expose their youngsters to a higher competition level etc.

So imo it's not actually a bad thing. Plus I don't want to see the same teams winning every competition, so if by having people choose it actually doubles the number of teams that win certain competitions, that's a good thing. More people are interested, more people are succeeding, and it may give new challenges too.

If this happened I hope they will review player fatigue as well in order to not see snail teams playing for the 2D and 3D. Though stamina impact should stay but not to make it painful to watch
2025-11-24 12:42:12
What do you mean exactly? There is no such thing as lasting fatigue from game to game, player starts every game with 100% and has 100% after the game ends
2025-11-24 12:44:43
Maybe not but it affects injuries ..so curious how that will be handled..
2025-11-24 17:13:13
I meant, if they introduced international cup (additional games per week) then fatigue accumulates?
Let's say isn't it Sunday game + Wednesday game if you let your players play 180 mins then on the 2nd game it's visible that your players are more tired than the ones who play only 90 mins per week. Let's assume that Wednesday you have one player who plays 180 mins another one playes his first 90 mins of the week.

Injuries for sure should be focused at as well.

Imagine if there's national cup 2 X league games + 1 international cup, all fine for me though how is ''Fatigue, injuries, training'' handled in this scenario?

"What do you mean exactly? There is no such thing as lasting fatigue from game to game, player starts every game with 100% and has 100% after the game ends"

Glad someone cleared that up. I was confused.

again, there is no fatigue accumulation in this game

there's no fatigue
there's no change to training except extra 90min to give training to players
injuries will be adjusted (duration/frequency) but I assume that it won't be a big change unfortunately

Good to know, thanks for clarifications
2025-11-24 22:14:03
Will the prize money be based on performance, like in the national cup?
Do they plan to adjust the ridiculously low amount?
2025-11-25 19:57:13
oh man i was so disappointed a few seasons ago when I made the finals of the NC and got such garbage money.
2025-11-25 20:07:10
In my opinion, they should remove it or update it.
2025-11-26 18:12:31
What's the question? Lol
2025-11-26 19:23:38
I will ask the question !
