The main thing they need to change is the age when the juniors come out. Imho it should be max 18. But let it be 19.
Basically all juniors coming out as 20 or 21 are useless.
In theory yes, in practice not necessarily... if you just delete x% of oldest youths while keeping same amount if youths joining, then that % will go into other ages, then if you get more 16yos and 17yos, then there will be more top 16-17yo players etc. which in the end will mean that 18-19yos will be considered in the same way as current 20-21yos - useless
it's the same way if you would delete the 16yos from youth school, suddenly 18-19yo youths would have higher value than now because the scope of youngsters available would change
in the end it wouldn't have any impact on the fact that some would still get more good youths and some would still get very few good youths, it's just that "good youth" definition would drift

Have you actually read those and thought them through? They are absolutely terrible and there's no "additional challenge" for the user in them
you would just have to pay, usually only to get what you have now for free. what's the point in that? you think that paying extra just to be able to have a magical youth coach makes sense and would fix the youth issue?
because I think that those proposed changes would fix nothing and would only price out lots of people out of having a youth school (which already often means regular losses for x seasons if you're not lucky)

For me, if anything, this could be done.
Extra facilities, very low priced, every facility has 1-3 (or 5) max stars.
Possible facilities:
- professional youth academy (bonus to youths)
- professional training stadium (training bonus)
- professional physios (injury healing bonus)
- professional mental coach (form bonus)
- professional marketing team (increased income bonus)
etc.
every facility could give bonus for every star that would be for example higher chance for good youth / additional training bonus / faster healing / higher sponsors income and so on.
let's say Training Facility could either allow you to give 105-115% instead of max 100% training every week (probably overpowered...) OR give you more training % per minute played (so 90 minutes in friendly = 100% training at MAX level instead of 85%)
the catch is that you wouldn't be able to max all of them or even most of them. for example you would be able to allocate max 3-5 stars among them, so you would have to choose what bonuses do you want for your team.
and you wouldn't be able to just change them every week, building every facility would take time (for example 1 season) and then increasing every level would take another season, so in order to create a "Training Facility" with max 3 stars you would need to concentrate on that for 3 whole seasons (so it would have to be strategical, long-term)
obviously it would have to be carefully thought out and balanced so there wouldn't be an obvious choice for every team, although in most cases it would be probably be either youths + training (teams gathering resources) or youths + injuries/marketing (top teams)

Every farmers will buy pro Y.S, pro training, pro physio. In any case, it will be profitable, farming on booster !

It would be great if we could reduce the importance of the training system over competition, making training much less linear and much more unpredictable. That will never happen.

The international cup will hopefully give people the option to choose what games they train in, so we dont have to sacrifice the league.

and in my idea it would not be possible to max 3 facilities, possibly even maxing 2 shouldn't be possible so choices would matter, not like now where everyone has same coaches, same youth school etc.

horrible idea, it would make the game even more random & luck dependant and would result in overall quality of players downgrading + good/lucky trained players would go for even higher prices and farmers would make even more money. So yeah, fortunately will never happen.

it does not really matter, it seems that youth school reform is still not a top priority for Devs
Devs have been clear on several occasions that they can only work on one major project at a time, the current one being IC. The junior squad may or may not be the next project on their list, but I think it's safe to say that it's one of the top priorities based on their previous statements.
I think it's a really really good idea.

That many people choose option A? the developers simply reduce its strength.
