Subject: NEWS Sokker- big changes are coming!

2026-04-08 18:48:39
Did you change the tickets prices?

It's not directly -20%, according to news it is "supporters expecting -20% ticket prices" / optimal ticket prices is now -20% compared to previous optimal price

If you have same price as in previous seasons then a big number of supporters can decide not to come to the match because of too high prices.

It's as it always worked. Too low price = you get many supporters but not as much money as you could with higher prices. Too high price = you get much less supporters and not as much money as you could with lower prices.

The changes will lead to a mass exodus of users who have been in it for years. Today I had some time left and decided to buy something :) alas, there are no players on the market, and even if there is someone, the price is... unrealistically high.
Millions of matches, injuries, lack of funds to maintain larger academies and quality coaches, few training slots – all of this will lead to a lack of players. And this manager will go down in history like many others before him.

In general I agree, they are making big mistakes with their approach and they are incapable of getting the big picture and results of the changes that they make. They also don't seem to care much about what happens.

But I can't agree with this: "lack of funds to maintain larger academies and quality coaches". It's very easy to afford top level youth school and high level coaches. In fact probably too easy, average team can afford anything in the game (stadium, top coaches, top academy etc.) and the only place where people can spend their excess money is on the transfer market.

I haven’t changed the ticket prices yet; I’ll give it a go. I hope it works out as you said. Thank you very much.

Sure. We all have our own issues with the game. Mine is form, yours is injuries. I think we can both agree that the game is far from perfect and the development doesn't really improve the game for both old and new players. That said, we like the game too much to just discard it. So the best we can do is make the best of what we have. Complaining in this game doesn't solve the problems or issues because the devs have too little time to divert from their own schedule give us what we want. I hope you have less injuries this season. That's the best I can give you.

Operating balance €2,367,199 - this is for last season, a serious amount to spend :) on the transfer market.
I also missed hiring coaches where you can easily spend 5-6 million without getting anything good.
youth academy from last season - expensive pleasure
Income -Summary €2,301
Expenses - Summary €1,032,025

Changed te prices, like -30%.
Stil it's awful experience

well... operating balance is not the thing that will make u money, with 1 good sale you can mantain the junior academy and coaches for a whole season.. so here i have to agree with borkos and say that actually is quite easy to have a good coach roaster and the academy open

One good sale? I guess you all guys getting the juniors i am not.
My income in Euro from selling juniors for last 4 seasons:
Season 76: 0
Season 75: 1.9M
Season 74: 5k
Season 73: 50k

Junior academy costs per season: 200k
Junior coach per season: 600k

So sales covered about 61% of the expenses.

I can agree with Dtox9, injuries are not the problem.
Income is not problem either, i had profit last season. And from what i see this season will be even better. I just do not have time to experiment with ticket prices to get almost full stadium without losing income.

The main problem with injuries is that it does not make sense to buy replacements if you cannot train them. You would have to sell them right after, but you cannot because you are punished with tax. One should be able to train all or at least 22 players per week if we are playing 4 games.

Anyway my main problem with the game is the junior school, its not fair at all. But afaik that part will not be fixed at all, they just plan to screw it in a different way.

I get 1 euro from my YS in the 10 moths i have it open... 1 good sale i mean not from your YS, from TL

I think he meant one good sale of a trained player (profit on training), not necessarily selling a fresh own youth.

Youth school is a lottery, some will make a lot of money, some will break even, some will lose some money. In the long run (meaning 10+ seasons) it usually at least balances itself out.

I had a whole year (not season, 12 months) where in total I received for my YS players 400k euro. And for 10 months in a row it was 1.5k euro - I was able to sell literally just one YS player during 3 seasons and he went for 1.5k.

But I also had 9 months when I managed to sell 3 youths for 26m euro (although all 3 of them were trained by me). So sometimes you can get 26m euro, sometimes you can get 1.5k in the same time span.

Not for me, but thats an old topic.

Big changes in Sokker, but form management is still terrible.
Is it possible that in 30 weeks one of my players has had a performance like this?
Almost always somewhere between tragic and poor?

(In reality the graph is longer, always with the same trend)
