Subject: NEWS Sokker- big changes are coming!

It's a different thing that You mention now. I agree that the injuries are too long and probably happening too often with such tight schedule.

Before you were laughing that Your GK got injured even though You used a 'safe' tactic.

But the 'safe' tactic was actually bad for injury chance% of Your GK.

+1, playing corner tactics in friendlies all the time - injuries happen way more often for gks and the lone field player than normally. But there is a simple solution - dont play relevant players/trainees in these positions.
2022-09-19 21:06:00
Exactly

It's also a bad idea to use all players in the corner and I've seen people playing like that, it doesn't help in any way

A good way is to use 8 players in the def corners + non important GK, DEF, ATT in the centre so they get most attention

Even better to use 7 in corners + weak GK, DEF, MID, ATT - but that takes away 4 training spots so not always works with training schedule

There are no off the ball injuries in this game, so "action" is what definitely causes them.

Oh im not used to you guys actually responding, but now you did;

Why is the bug of this season "teams not being in right division" been solved quicker than I could log in, but a bug where a diff team is selected in world cup, something like that cant or wont be fixed.

Whats the whole idea/point behind this? As ive seen in NL no matter what team went where with playoffs it would still be balanced.

Ontopic; the game was in my cup vs Blue Bois, im on phone now so I wont check rn.

xineon to EJ
That is because you leave no one on the field - someone has to run after ball so the guys closest to it does that and accordingly have higher chance of injuries. Just put 1-3 players on the field and play 1eur players there.

There was 0 injuries in that game so must've been a different one...

Anyway as xineon wrote...not a good way to avoid injuries...

Injuries are all about intensity (how often player takes part in game), check how I play in friendlies - some of my players get 0-2% intensity.

Now, Your game vs Blue Bois. Valentino has 60% intensity, Kargul 70% intensity, Noppert 16% intensity, These are 3 players that you have high risk of injury when you play like that.

no idea and we won't answer you that. the actions of owners are starting to get ridiculous and I'm really out of any optimism at this point, even though I had high hopes for this project...

Sorry been 1 injury on only blue bois side when using the tactic, outside of that I wasn't really here to discuss about my tactic nor the injuries here(accepted that fate). But you've given me an answer without answering my real question so for that I thank you.

And I understand you.

My players are getting injured with up to 10% intensity, i see the injuries as a completely random thing
2022-09-20 19:05:14
Of course they can get injured with less than 10%...it's obvious... player can get injured even with 1st touch of ball when starting the game or never get injured in whole sokker career... it's just a matter of % chance and number of events...

As someone said before, it seems like some people don't understand how 'random' works.

In one of my friendlies my divine defender in high form got a red card - 1 foul, on a player without form, with 100k value
Is that normal? No. Possible? Yes.

In 100 tackles he would probably win the tackle 90+ times, lost 5 times, foul 2 times. And chance for red card in this situation (divine in form vs very low tech without form) is probably 1/1000 or less, but it still is there and SOMETIMES, very seldomly, will happen.

An easier example with scoring.

You can have a divine striker who scores 0/10 in a game.
Another striker, only formidable, will score 1/3.

Does it mean that scoring is completely random, or that it's better to have a formidable striker, not divine one?
No, because it's a very small sample...in 1000 shots the divine will score 500 and the formidable will score 200...but due to randomness that is ALWAYS in such games, even in FIFA or FM, SOMETIMES it will happen that weaker striker will finish better than the much better one...

What is more, this kind of 'random' is also present in real life...

I had 14 injuries last season - all of them starting 11 players. At one point of the season I was in a situation where 5 of starting 11 players were out. People are using corner tactics which should be indication to developers that there are too many injuries. Tomorrow I have CC game and 2 of my best strikers are out, so good luck for me.

Another serious issue imo is transfer market. Right now there is possible to find decent older players if I want, although the selection isnt nothing special. but lets be honest, there are no decent fresh juniors. I have been using same criterias for a long time.
This Saturday there were only 10 players valued over 100k euros, and all them were crap. Ok season is shorter. But something has to be done to get more players in this game.

that's a different topic, I'm talking about randomness, not whether there are too many/too long injuries. I agree that there should be less injuries and they should be shorter.

they are planning to when the finish 'upgrading' the game.
at this point sokker is a shitshow, imagine new user coming in and seeing the f up notifications bug or that the layout is actually TWO layouts, old one and new one, because for over a year the can't finish it.

there's no point in bringing in new players at this point, nobody sane will stay.

Btw. the "no good player on TL" thing is also due to changes in training. There's no need to sell a good youth player because he always 'fits' training, you're not getting a defender while training only striker like before. It had to have an impact on the market and it's normal, problem is that there weren't that many youths even before the training change.

Im getting an outstanding/incredible 18yo this week though, so prepare your wallet.

In the future, there will be fewer and fewer soccer players, I mean both, virtual players and us, managers. The good things of the game were ruined, and the most important bad thing, the injuries, remained the same, even worse. I guarantee that the game would become fantastic, if the shortening of the season was accompanied by a commensurate speeding up of training, as they promised. The opposite happened. The training is further extended as the players are older, and in addition, now "soccer time" passes quickly. Also, managers often left soccer because of a large number of long-term injuries. Instead of reducing the frequency and duration of injuries, they increased by shortening the season and increasing the number of league games. Finally, the situation is alarming. The conclusion is that someone wants to create a serious gap between the teams, to destroy the "middle class" and for the richest to finally get their 5 minutes, because more capable and smarter managers achieved better results than them, but with less money. So, supposedly, the changes came in order to attract more new managers, and I am sure that the result will be that many long-time users will leave soccer.

ok, so we agree that the main issue to change is DEFINITELY the issue of injuries.

Today buying good players is already difficult, if on top of that when you buy them you can't train or use them, that makes the game tedious and unsustainable over time.

It basically doesn't work as a game.

Great idea to speed up game.
The absolute most stupid idea in a history of extremely stupid ideas, or if you like GOAT of stupid ideas - to slow down(already slow) training progress, while speeding up the game?! What?
Injuries, youth school... the less said, the better!

It would be a whole lot more fun , if managers could see their players progress faster and not waiting 2-3 Months real life for a player to pop up in a skill.
