Subject: NEWS Sokker- big changes are coming!

2021-03-19 19:35:24
Ok, but what do you expect in a game that is almost 17 years old with users which have an account almost as long as that?
That a new team can compete within a half year or faster is nonsense...
It's only logical there is a gap!
If there's a stream of new users, they will compete each other in the lower regions. And only the strong can grow through to the higher regions. This is only logical.
Many new users....that is what the game needs.

I totally agree with you, but in order to get many users "you" need to make the game attractive. A core aspect of the game is that it stimulates competitiveness in people, but in order for that to work on the long-term, without people losing interest because they feel overwhelmed or feel that they also need to spend 15 years in the game to reach a top position, the game needs to give newbies the feeling that at some point they can become "equal" with the top teams (not in 2 seasons, of course), but ,as long there is no "brake" for the veterans, new teams feel that, even if they will spend 15 years in the game, they will never catch up with the veterans , because by then they will be even more potent... I hape I've made my self clear...
There needs to be something to sort-of make it a level field... maybe when it comes to tactics... don't know exactly... if it is just a mathematical algorithm like level 14 team versus level 16 team in witch level 16 always beats level 14... it is logical but frustrating... maybe some random events... don't know... I'm working on it :-)))
Of course if a level 10 team is beating a level 16 team is absolutely absurd...
Cheers

Keep it up ;-)

The changes the devs are planning to work out will allready cost a decent amount of money, certainly for older and better clubs!
Youth reformation, training reformation, shorter seasons, skilldrops for players who don't play matches...
sitting on your money won't be as easy as it is now...

Skilldrops for players who don’t play matches. The players decrease form, but never drop their skill. That is silly. Ronaldinho: “hold my beer for a second” .

I'm really looking forward to the new "Sokker Era"! I hope things will change for the better.... skill dropping for players who do not play, for 3 games let's say, is not a bad idea.... Ronaldinho's skills did drop after all that beer... :-)) we'll see what happens...
I would introduce a "daily motivational speech " , teams need too log in every day to fulfill their motivational speech to their players, they get 1 point ,let's say , at the end of the week you can gather as much as 7 points which can raise the overall motivational (or tactical level) of the team and it will, in a small percentage, affect the outcome of the game... thus small devoted teams can, sometimes, create problems for bigger complacent teams (managers)... who gathered less points ... see :Dynamo Zagreb - Tottenham , on top of that it keeps managers "hooked "!
Really excited anyways... a bit obsessed :-))... to much time in pandemic times :-))
Tululu!

Skilldrops for players who don’t play matches.

But it has been announced...but not in the drastically way you think about it though :-)

Say a player has a certain skill at level 14.66, so higher brilliant...
Then he will drop around 0.06 or so... depending on age, talent,... dunno...
But the devs said this WILL be implemented against the wild trading and teams with 50+ players...

I think untrained players will drop more... I haven't read anywhere exact numbers but as I understood players that will not be given a "training spot" (22 in total) will drop... how much is not said (maybe I've missed it)... even if they will play a match, but NOT being SET for training (given a training spot) will still NOT TRAIN, on the othe hand you will be able to train players that DID NOT PLAY....
if I understood correctly... any way can't wait... should come any minute now :-)) maybe at the end of the season or at the end of the next season...

And we will have a SCOUTING SYSTEM and a new YOUTH ACADEMY...
Ciao!

That is not the solution. Pace for example can drop from 18 skill to 17 at 28 years of age. It happened to me. But in the future If i have a 16 year old who doesnt play for 3 weeks he will drop in skill. Half of players in soccer will leave, including me, and i sustain the game with money. There are far better ideas to prevent users taking advantage of the player market... You cannot build a game who can reflect reality...for example you cannot expect a team like fc Bury (search it on google) to reach the level of a top team from the final 8 teams in Champions league this season in just a few years. That is but a mere example and the list can continue.

You misinterprete the whole situation.
Why would you buy a 16y old and then NOT let him play.
Also, the younger players won't drop as fast as the old, but not playing = dropping, but very slowly.
And it makes sence.
And if they're injured, it also makes sence they have a small set-back.
Is it fun? Probably not, but on the other hand, it controls the development a bit more against the multiple superdivine players... and it's for everyone, not alone for you or me.

No i don’t... you are. Read everything again. Have a nice evening.

when do this sh***t design that is completely unusable will change?! it's horrible! why not to keep at-least possibility to switch to the old one?

Players who do not train should become overweight and eventually obese. There is no way a player who is obese will be obese forever.

Or

by training stamina a player will shed off some weight.

So that when you overtrain stamina, the player may loose some weight and become underweight.

Furthermore, or,

Players who do not train should loose stamina. By training any other skill, the stamina maintains where it is.

A player that does not play should not train and lose stamina points... every 2 weeks 1 valuepoint... it's suficient I think...
Training players that do not play (which will be possible after the upgrade) will be the preferred method for most managers... because it avoids that the players will be injured...
Tschüß!
2021-03-27 20:32:21
I disagree...

It still only covers 60% of the training and will for sure not be enough for most coaches...
But it can be handy from time to time.
2021-03-27 21:59:38
The new sistem that allows players to get training while not playing? They only receive 60%? ... interesting
Best of luck !
2021-03-28 10:21:28
Yes... But playing and not having a training spot won't receive training! The training spot is key for the training!
