there's something very important yet very easy to fix: STATISTICS. you don't need a big investment there, just a couple tweaks so we can have full historical information on leagues, clubs, matches and players.
i.e., as things stand right now, the junior leagues don't even show the champions of previous seasons!

Exactly and that is why I will not renew my plus untill I see this is heading forward a positive way. We have been kept waiting for too long to just simply return to business as usual. Imho.
Edit: I like the ys better the way it is now. It is more realistic and in order to make money with ys you need to find out talent, thus a challenge and you need to train them yourself. In rl clubs train their youths also to build future players for their own teams.

I agree with you. The best tactician football. You can coordinate the players moving in zones, you can make you own offside trap or you can create a pressing tacktic with higher defense system, or take the defenders deeper, so this is the best football manager game, this is the only one... In the other football manager games you can't do it, for example the offline Football Manager or similar online manager games so boring because of this.
Since no one has mentioned it yet I think most players have forgotten about the most important thing that every game needs: Developers communication with it's community.
I guess after so many years with zero communication players have gotten used to it or simply forgotten about it due to old age:P

Yeah I see that now. I still reserve judgment years of disappointment or shoudl I say a decade do have effect on me. Time will tell. I gladly renew my plus once I see decent progress. The development forum is a good start.
mine will expire around june but i definitely will renew it its huge positive change we need to stimulate it
