Subject: How many assistant trainers you have?

I myself have 3, but actually have no idea how adding more or removing would affect the training.

not sure about the training efficiency, but you risk losing the training if you have more than 3
and having less than 3 obviously slowers the training

The assistants may be helpful to the main coach improving his training effectiveness - the better the assistant (in terms of general appraisal); the more he helps the main coach. However, do not hire too many assistants. If you hire more than 3, they will argue, resulting in training being less effective, or even lost.

I knew there was a reason why i have 3 trainers for ages :-).

Anyway i think it should just be limited to 3.

How important are the head coaches for sec. training?
I know that assistans are those who are generally responsible for sec. training.
Example : I am training DEF , and have a head Coach with DEF 16 but very low other skills because i am a Beginner and have to carefully manage finances.
What is the difference beetwen such a coach, and a Head Coach who has a f.e. all skills 16 with same assistants?
What would be the difference? Would sec. skills develop a lot faster or would the difference be barely noticable?

The difference between general training efficiency with a coach with 16level side skills and low side skills is huge. I would rather say that assistants increase the efficiency of the main coach (both main training and general training)

you would need to find someone who is using a tool like SokkerViewer which allows longterm training data observation and who had weak coaches for a long enough time and then changed them. Then you could track the progress of a certain player under both coaches.

I have a 17yr player who just popped on 3 passing in 12 weeks of general training since the last rpp. His talent and my coaches are pretty close to the maximum.

If my main coach would have only excellent passing skills, I think that this player would need at least 20general trainings. But that is just a wild guess. No formula to support the guess, just experience and intuition

But it becomes extremely difficult to compare, since you cannot compare the effect in training efficiënty for the same player at the same age...
Also, you don't have an exact number on talent, so you never know between 2 youngsters having the same age if their talent is the same, if the effect of the staff would be so different...
The only way you "could" check it with most possible accuracy is if you have 2 players with the same age, talent AND skills, trained for about 3 seasons.
Then 1 player should be sold to a club with the "other" staff, receiving the same training for about another 3 seasons again.

And the same way. Exactly. To do this research ia not possible. Only creators can say us what is the right answer.

I think you would do better with one magical as the main, and the unearthly as an assistant, by how much... not sure this is a devs answer
