Subject: »Sokker Manager Premium (2.1)

I have switched on the automatic update. MS recommended it.

It's just a guess if this is related.
It's happening after I click on the download button with the two computers.
Everytime I try to download I have the following message box:
Microsoft Office Access has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

It is asking if I like to repair the database and send a report to MS!

I'm really not sure if it is related to IE7.0, but it was ok Monday and now after the upgrade I have this problem...

I have a Mac, nonetheless, I'd like to congratulate you on your great work. :)

I would suggest running a Windows restore back to point in time before IE updated itself, then try SM. If it works afterwards I would say that the IE update was the culprit.

As someone who has quite a few years of PC Tech experience, I would also suggest to disable Automatic Updates for Windows. MS is not the most highly regarded software company when it comes to testing their software updates. Too many instances of updates that go wrong and have to be corrected again have been reported since they started the Windows update process.

Just an opinion after a few years of experience with Windows Updates. Please take it at face value. :)

I deinstalled IE7.0 and...
the application is working just fine.
Looks like another great job of MS.

(I'm using firefox to surf at home)

I really like Sokker Manager.
It's a fantastic tool.
Maybe in half a year or so I can use the player posting function...

Sokker Manager 2.2 is coded and will be released after the Tactical Discipline is added to the XML feed. I'll want to test it after the XML is released...

It has a few enhancements including a message on pops after downloading, of course support throughout for Tactical Discipline (including training graphs and pop history etc), some improvements to the GTF training factor (the best judge of talent available), etc.

Btw, 2.2 won't have the tab control in it - that will be for V3.0.

Any other requests for incorporation into 2.2 can be considered of course.

i Installed IE 7 too and have the same error as the user before.
The application just closes.

It's not set up for IE 7 yet, that's brand new, and i don't have it.

Hm, I think the important information is all in english.
Furhermore I just wanted to help.
I didn't want to fix it within one week but maybe for one of the next versions beause people who use it will have ie7 sooner or later.

if you release v2.2 could you fix a small youth school bug please?

juniors join school on saturday.
if he pops in his first training sokker manager misses this pop and thinks he started with that level.
the fix would be to be able to set the starting level.
this is no big error, but if the player pops for the second time sokker manager things its the first time and therefor the talent calculation and the endlevel are missing.

second bug
at the players report we have weeks trained / pop.
it takes the overall count of pops for that specific level and not the pops that accured while that skill was actually trained.
example:
Player X randomly popped at week 2 in striker
I start striker training at week 3
Player X popps after 3 weeks of training
now sokker manager tells me he made 2 pops in 3 weeks of training (1,5 weeks / pop)
