I would like to share some of the young African stars most likely to be competing for the cup this season.

For starters I would like to introduce you, the Kenyan star and 2nd captain: Sammmmmmmm Kenyatta!



Kenyatta is currently playing in the most competitive league around the world. If there's any doubt that he is one of the most exciting young players on the planet, consider this: He has played 15 games for the Kenyan NT having only 19 years old and he has been prepping for this his whole life. When he was about 6 years old, he, his brother (Gicicio, also in the team) and their friends started meeting after school to practice football and dreaming about being champion in Poland and raising the Champions Cup. Now he has the opportunity to lead Kenya towards his first African Cup and he is happy to be seen as the Kenyan star of this generation.

Born in Nkol Ngok on the outskirts of Yaounde in Cameroon’s capital city, Georges N’Di came from humble beginnings. He’d play on the streets as a kid and on dirt mottled pitches until he was spotted by the Greg and Raul Foundation as a young boy.
At 17, he had the opportunity in FC Douala. The Cameroonian excelled at U17 level. But even though he was highly valued at the club and FC Douala did everything they could to convince him to stay, N’Di was unsure about his path into the first team. At 17 years of age not many goalkeepers play first team football, but for N’Di he wanted to be at least pushing for a spot. ‘He saw that situation and decided to move on,’ his former coach said.
From there, N’Di has developed into one of the best goalkeepers in the world. He has been playing around Europe and currently he is proving his value in the Polish league, where he dreams to be at Ekstraklasa level someday.
At this point he is a little bit annoyed by the silence from the Cameroonian Sokker Federation and no preparation matches in the last weeks. "We will defend our nation name, but it is really hard when you feel there is no commitment to improve our National Team... it seems that we (the players) are left alone", He said before leaving.
