Problem is that older trainees leave for very low prices nowadays.
If you will sell this kind of players at the age of 22y you get 6 to 8 million euro only...
So 8 million euro or more for this 17y players is totally non profit nowadays.
Of course there are exceptions, but not a lot.

Did you ever had a transfer where you got more than expected? In this game you will have good transfers and bad transfers, everybody learn this from own experience.
I watched your player, had a big bid in the first 24 hours, and after that not many users followed him, maybe that's why not many bid for him in the last minutes.
Get over it and enjoy your big account balance! :)

It's kinda tiring and pretty unfair. If that's 12m, my player above price was 15m?

The logic in this game doesn't exist anymore. In general terms i get shit prices compared to others. And I'm not selling mediocre players either.

actually my player is a huge bargain

this weekend another Croatian 18yo MID (Marijo Natal [39921041]) with exactly same sumskill went for 15m euro, so +3m euro higher than mine. and he was sold by a Croatian user, not a Pole.

have you seen Modrić? you pay extra for that Croatian talent

People need to see that paying 10 million euro + for a 17/18y trainee will kill your team. Not any profit and your financial balance will crash on long term.
Too many short term thinking users, same as in the real world ;)

honestly the prices of youngsters already dropped a lot, before 16-17yos were even going for 20-40m euro, even with unproven talent. THAT was crazy.

as for paying 10m euro for a young player or more, I don't see a problem when the buyer knows what he is doing.

you want to create a top team? you need to buy / find out ten top talent, top skill youngsters and you won't buy them for 3m euro. so in such case I totally understand that people pay 10m/youth or more, because then they have the best material for shaping their perfect 10 ten players.

later on it's usually hard to get really top players to fill your team because they are rarely sold and they are usually a bit different from your players so it's harder to develop every player perfectly.
