World Cup - Group E
1. Please introduce yourself to us at the beginning of our conversation, tell us about your experience in the game Sokker, which country you live in, and write something about yourself.
1- I'm too old maybe the older than anyone else in World Cup captains. The age don't mean anything especially. I live in Hungary Budapest. I have a good club team named Pontvadászok. We won in Hungarian First Class last season previously seasons my team was silver and bronz medalist. I think these results are show my experiences.
2. Tell us what your journey to the World Cup looked like, what was the most difficult for you, and what do you remember most from the group stage fight for World Cup qualification?
2- In the first World Cup qualifier, my team's best striker was sent off in the 29th minute. I can say that we had a great start, we lost 0-4 against Switzerland. After that, the tactics didn't work as I had planned. What worked in my club team, the same thing failed in the NT. It seems that something else was written in the stars for me.
3. Introduce us to your national team, and who is the real star in it?
3- There are no star players in the Hungarian NT. If we compare it to other, really strong national teams, we have very few players who are better than the best players of our rivals. That's it, we have to achieve some results from this selection.
4. How do you assess your group in the World Championship? How do you see your chances in it, and who do you fear the most?
4- Realistically, only 2nd place in the group is possible. But that's the maximum. Either Romania or Bulgaria will be 1st. I hope the match engine will help me a little.
5. Your real goal at this World Championship? What will be a success for you and what will be a failure?
5- To advance from the group would be a good result for me. Anything else would be just baseless promises and puffing up phrases. Then if I could still make it through one round after advancing from the group, that would be a complete miracle for me.
6. Who do you think will be the dark horse and a pleasant surprise at the World Championship?
6- I can't really answer that, I don't usually watch other teams, only the ones I have to play against.
But funny: the dark horse will be Senegal :) if you get the joke.
7. What do you think the medal zone will look like at this World Championship? Name 4 teams.
7- Senegal, Sweden, Czech Republic and... and... I really have no idea :)
8. Let's brainstorm a bit now. If you were the owner of this game, what new things would you introduce? What is important to you in this game that, unfortunately, is currently missing?
8- If I were the owner of the game, I would definitely introduce free beer delivered to the captains' homes by topless girls. Just to add some excitement to this game.

12- The most important thing is that this is a game. There's a lot of luck involved. What the captain can do is choose the best players at the moment. And we put together a tactic that we hope will be good. Then at the moment the match starts, our fate is already decided. The match engine will either throw a winning or losing card. It's a shame to get ourselves into this. If we succeed, they like us up there. But if we lose, we're no worse people or stupider managers. It's just a game. And world peace for everyone.

1- my name is onur, 29 y.o. tech ceo and rock musician living in antalya, turkiye and sometimes tallinn, estonia. my account belongs to 2008. I was inactive for years and started playing actively again in the last years. last 2 seasons I won turkish 1st league and turkish cup and then 2 times qualified last 16 on champions cup with my team. before switzerland I've managed lietuva and china.
2. Tell us what your journey to the World Cup looked like, what was the most difficult for you, and what do you remember most from the group stage fight for World Cup qualification?
2- we did not lose a single match and still undefeated in the world cup. our team is currently 14th on ranking. it was at 20th when i'm elected, so with just 2 friendly loses (italy and turkiye) we jumped 6 positions in just a season. winning against solid magyarország with 4-0 on our group match was cool but I prefer watching our latest friendly games with top 5 teams.
3. Introduce us to your national team, and who is the real star in it?
3- we don't have a real star player but all of them becomes a star when I drink turkish raki with them
4. How do you assess your group in the World Championship? How do you see your chances in it, and who do you fear the most?
4- all teams in our group playing with almost same rating. some of them are in good form with some cool coaches. but to be honest I really don't afraid anyone including top 5 teams.
5. Your real goal at this World Championship? What will be a success for you and what will be a failure?
5- switzerland community and I believe our modest squad may keep making surprises. we are the real underdog!

6- I see our team switzerland as the surprise team. italy is my dark horse.

7- if you ask me this question after couple of drinks switzerland is the medalist and other 3, who knows... let's say italy, poland, mozambique...

8- as a software guy i would recommend feedback based development to dev team and a proper project manager. i even had an attempt previously to gather ideas from users instead dealing with hundreds of forum talks to help you guys (https://onurkoseoglu.com/sokker/). but anyways, sokker team doesn't listen users at all. they are screaming for youth school developments and bunch of stuff for years and all we got is silly tax rates and tutorial is still not implemented for new users. as a tutor, im still messaging new registered user to let them understand why they should not expand the stadium yet...
