The only possibility for you not to have been qualified in the last games was the scenario that Colombia would've beaten Romania and you would've lost to Algeria. Neither of these happened. So if Romania was using different strikers against Colombia than in the game vs. you, what's the big deal? They have a dozen top quality strikers, maybe even dozens. Had he used U24-team or something like this and lost, I'd understand you being angry (even though you would've still qualified). But now and this, I just don't get it. Just focus on the WC, the qualifiers were last season.

The Romania-Colombia match took place an hour before the Portugal match. Therefore, it wasn't yet known that Portugal had won.
The point here isn't that Portugal qualified anyway. Fortunately, Portugal did.
If the Romanian coach wanted to rotate the team, and if he had already secured 1st place before the game against Portugal... why did he only rotate the team in the game against Colombia using players with form 13 instead of starters with form 17?

I stated that Romania played with their reserve team against Colombia, something that can be verified in the match report. Comments like yours show the lack of independent thought that exists in the game, and that it is just full of haters who ignore the facts and attack anyone who goes against the system. You simply ignored all the facts and attacked me for no reason. You need to develop yourself intellectually. Facts don't matter to you, all you care about is biting.

So maybe it is quite opposite. Maybe by trying to eliminate You from WC (through holistic scenario in group), Romania's coach wanted to eliminate stronger team from competition. By thinking it that way, You have an opportunity to prove that Portugal is strong enough team to get at least bronze medal (like You've said in Your interview) - hopefully by eliminating Romania before medal phase :)

1- Hello, my name is Edmon, I'm 48 years old, and I was born in Barcelona, but I've been living in a small town on the coast of Uruguay (Piriapolis) for 15 years.
I started sokker in June 2005, more than 20 years ago, and this is my second experience at the World Cup. The previous time I won the bronze medal with Spain at the second World Cup in sokker, where we faced an unbeatable Poland in the semifinals.
2. Tell us what your journey to the World Cup looked like, what was the most difficult for you, and what do you remember most from the group stage fight for World Cup qualification?
2- Like all the group stages, it was difficult to finish first in the group because we came from Pot 2, as we were 18th in the rankings.
What I remember most is the deserved defeat against Ukraine, and I was very surprised by India, where we almost lost, but in the end, the two favorites, Argentina and us, qualified for the World Cup.

3- Spain is a great team with good players, but the most outstanding right now is Gabriel Sidro at 26 years old.

2- We've had a solid group stage and have been able to experiment with players and tactics.
the better teams in our group stage were Bosna i Hercegovina and slovensko.

3- We have a good team but not really big star in our team ,our goalkeeper, Antony Vanmaelsaeke is our best player. He helped us to reach the final at the last World Cup.
But unfortunately, he's lost his form, and I won't be able to count on him this wk.
4. How do you assess your group in the World Championship? How do you see your chances in it, and who do you fear the most?
4- I rate our chances for 50% , very strong group with Türkiye, Česká republika and USA.

2- The World Cup qualifiers were tough. We started with a draw against Ecuador, and knowing we were weaker than Brazil and Venezuela, every match needed smart tactics and careful lineups. Brazil dominated, Venezuela stumbled, and Ecuador was unpredictable. Focusing on tactics and making the most of our chances got us through the group.

3- Our national team is a very well-prepared squad, without any stars. Everything is set up so that each tactic and lineup works as best as possible, making the team perform efficiently.
