Even more interesting that we met (Brasil vs Poland, same coaches) in semi-final at last World Cup, so it's an opportunity to have a rematch for Brasil.
I would also prefer not to face Poland right now; it was the worst possible draw for Brasil. Poland undeniably has the best team.
But considering that there are no easy opponents at this stage, we just have to accept it and see how it goes.
Who knows, maybe Brasil will have better luck this time!

thanks clau. at the end the match was really exciting and top level with lots of missed opportunities of both side. I wish you luck for the rest!
France - Việt Nam 2:0
The clash between France and Vietnam in the World Cup 1/8 finals had everything tactical depth, emotion, and moments of pure brilliance. Both managers, baloomao for France and funyy for Vietnam, decided to mirror each other with a 5-3-2 formation, clearly expecting a tactical chess battle rather than a wild shootout.
But oh, how the story unfolded!
From the very beginning, both teams set out with wide offensive wingers, trying to stretch the game and find cracks on the flanks. Yet, it was France who drew first blood in the 11th minute. After Trung Phúc’s reckless foul on Fourcade and the subsequent free kick, Bignon delivered a perfect ball, and Marie’s acrobatic header found the back of the net. GOOOOL! 1–0 France,
Vietnam tried to respond quickly Hoàng Quyết and Tuấn Long combined beautifully, almost capitalizing on a goalkeeper’s slip, but France held firm. Then came minute 26, another dangerous free kick for Les Bleus Fourcade’s rocket narrowly missed, but the pressure was clearly mounting.
But then came the turning point the second half.
Baloomao made a clever tactical switch, abandoning the wide play to focus on central offensive buildup. It paid off magnificently. In the 61st minute, a beautiful passing sequence between Fourcade and Marie ended with another strike Fourcade’s shot slipped past Quốc Khánh. 2–0 France!
Moments later, Vietnam’s hopes were crushed when Ngọc Hiền saw a straight red card for a reckless challenge. From there, the game tilted even more in France’s favor, though Vietnam never gave up they pushed bravely through Hoàng Hà and Hoàng Quyết, testing Héry until the final whistle.
By the 88th minute, Vietnam still fought for a miracle, but France’s defense stood like a wall. Final whistle: France 2 – 0 Vietnam
This was a masterclass in tactical control from France. Baloomao showed that patience and smart adjustments win matches at this level. The switch to attacking through the middle completely neutralized Vietnam’s wing play. Fourcade and Marie were absolute beasts up front their chemistry was dazzling!
As for Vietnam hats off.
Despite the loss, funyy’s squad showed incredible spirit. They held possession almost evenly and created solid chances even after going down to ten men. Their fighting heart deserves respect!
But in the end… France marches on to the quarterfinals, looking more dangerous than ever. The balance, the adaptability, the efficiency this is championship-level football.

World Cup Round of 16 – Match
Schweiz - România 1:2
Stadium: Stade de Suisse
What a thriller we witnessed in Bern! Before the match, Romania were clear favorites, but as we all know, in football, anything can happen as long as the ball is rolling. Switzerland, led by coach Nevermind, surprised everyone with an ultra-defensive 6-3-1 formation. Romania’s coach Clau_Goool chose a more balanced 5-3-2 setup.
From the first minute, Romania pushed forward, creating chance after chance - 18 shots vs. 6 for Switzerland. Yet the Swiss defense held strong, and their goalkeeper Salm delivered an outstanding performance. The first half ended goalless despite some big Romanian opportunities, including a missed penalty by Saramet in the 2nd minute!
In the 62nd minute, Romania finally broke through with a goal by Saramet (0:1), but Switzerland quickly answered as Rausis equalized with a header in the 71st minute – what a moment for the Swiss fans!
After 90 minutes the score was 1:1, and we went to extra time. Drama continued: a red card for Kästli in the 97th minute left Switzerland with 10 men. Romania kept pressing, and finally, in the 119th minute, Tomoşoiu struck the decisive goal – heartbreak for Switzerland, jubilation for Romania.
Final score: Switzerland 1 – 2 Romania (after extra time)
This was one of the most exciting matches of the tournament so far! Switzerland showed incredible spirit and nearly caused a huge upset. Their defensive setup was brave and almost paid off. Romania were the better side statistically, but they had to fight until the last minutes to earn the win.
Congrats to Romania for advancing to the quarterfinals, and huge respect to Switzerland for their heroic performance! This is what World Cup football is all about passion, drama, and emotions until the very end.
Player of the Match: Markus Rausis
for his fighting spirit, crucial goal, and outstanding performance under pressure.

World Cup Round of 16 – Match
Bosna i Hercegovina - Brasil 0:3
Stadion: Bosna i Hercegovina Arena
Before the match, looking at the team ratings Bosnia 80.5 vs Brazil 80.7, many expected a very balanced and close game. However, the reality on the pitch told a different story. The stats show Brazil’s clear dominance, 14 shots on target compared to Bosnia’s 4 says it all.
Both teams used a similar formation 5-3-2 and focused their attacks mainly on the wing. The difference came from Brazil’s much more compact and disciplined defensive line.
Coach Diego Batera chose a high defensive line combined with strong pressing, catching Bosnia’s forwards offside 10 times a key tactical success. Bosnia’s coach Trga used the same base setup but left too much space between lines, which Brazil exploited efficiently.
After going 0:2 down, Bosnia switched tactics in the second half, playing more through the middle and trying a higher press. That brought some improvement in buildup play, but again the attackers were too easily trapped offside, limiting any comeback hopes.
In the 35th and 37th minute, Brazil struck twice in quick succession Ceará and Maestro with goals that completely changed the game’s rhythm.
The final 3:0 came in the 66th minute, sealing Brazil’s confident win and a place in the quarterfinals.
Tactically, it was a masterclass from Diego Batera: excellent defensive coordination, high pressing, and perfect use of wing attacks. Bosnia had the right idea but lacked precision in timing and positioning.
Brazil fully deserved the victory. With such tactical discipline and offensive sharpness, they look like a serious contender for the title. Bosnia fought hard but paid the price for a poorly synchronized defensive line and too many offsides.
Brazil showed real class today! Despite both teams having similar strength ratings, Diego Batera’s tactics made all the difference. Bosnia couldn’t handle the high press and got caught offside too many times. A clear and deserved 3:0 win for Brazil pure tactical domination!
Man of the Match:
Gerônimo Ceará -Brazil
He was decisive in attack, scoring two goals and constantly threatening Bosnia’s defense with great positioning and composure. His finishing and movement were key to breaking the game open.

World Cup 1/8 Final
Türkiye - España 1:6
Stadion: Gazi Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK
pitch width 64
pitch height 95
I am honestly speechless after witnessing what just happened in this match. I was expecting a close, dramatic battle, maybe even extra time and penalties but instead, we got a true shocker. Türkiye, one of the most passionate and dedicated football nations in the Sokker world, was crushed 1:6 by Spain. There are no excuses here this was not a matter of game engine randomness. It was pure domination from Spain, and full credit must go to their coach Payas and his perfectly prepared team.
Tactical Overview
Türkiye Coach: LowPing
Formation: 5–3–2
Türkiye started cautiously, focusing on a compact defense and midfield control. The idea was to neutralize Spain’s attacks through the center. However, the plan backfired badly the Turkish defense couldn’t cope with the Spanish tempo and creativity.
España Coach: Payas
This setup surprised everyone. Payas went all-in with three forwards Oriol de la Sagra , Mauricio Pesquera , Javi Suárez Betancort , and later substitute Lucas Notario Caro . That attacking trio (and later quartet) was simply unstoppable. They pressed high, combined beautifully, and created chaos in the Turkish backline from the first minute.
A tactical switch at halftime attempting wing play also failed to change the course of the game.
Key Match Moments
*17’ – Suárez Betancort opens the scoring.
*25’ – de la Sagra doubles the lead with a clinical strike.
*37’ – de la Sagra again! Spain 3 : 0 before halftime.
*63’ – Türkiye pulls one back Baklavacı , 1 : 3. Hope? Not for long.
*72’, 85’, 88’ – Notario Caro and de la Sagra finish the job, turning it into a historic 1 : 6 win.
Spain dominated possession in the second half (60%), showed tactical discipline, and punished every Turkish mistake.
Player of the Match:
Oriol de la Sagra Spain
Weakest Link Türkiye
İdil Oltacı -Türkiye
Nervous, slow in transitions, caused unnecessary fouls and received an early yellow. He struggled to keep up with Spain’s pace and broke the defensive rhythm several times.
Before the match, these two teams looked evenly matched. Many expected a tactical chess battle, maybe even penalties. But what we got was a stunning and unexpected blowout. Türkiye’s game plan simply collapsed under Spain’s aggressive pressing and attacking power.
Congratulations to Spain and coach Payas this was a tactical masterclass and a statement performance. After such a dominant display, Spain must now be seen as one of the main favorites to win the World Cup.
Respect to both teams but what a performance from La Furia Roja!
