You can laugh, but with those 3 World Cups - believe me, that it was easier for me with Germany than with Poland, although it sounds crazy with so many top Polish players.

Polish players are crazy in skills, but because of handicap they don't show their skills in games and the finishing/dribbling ratio is often screwed because of handi. Then you get games like the final vs Belgium, where because of handi Belgie scored 3 goals from 4 shots. Yesterday the same, 4 shots from Brazilian strikers and 3 goals.

Before me Poland got eliminated by Moldova. 13:2 in shots, 0:1 in goals. It doesn't matter that skill of players are great when engine decides to kill you. You will lose, end of story.

Poland's biggest advantage is the number of players so you can cope with many injuries / form issues etc. But on the pitch the handicap is trying to kill you.

@everyone:
I cleaned up this topic a bit. Frustration, anger, disappointment, envy... I doesn't matter and they are all human emotions. No need to attack each other. If someone needs to let out some steam by complaining, no problem. But don't get personal and don't rub it in when you are not involved more than a spectator of the specific issue or complaint.
I think that there's already enough said about the flaws of the ME, the injuries, the red cards and so on. And we all know that this game is in slowmotion development with any real perspectives. But in the end, everyone here still plays the game because there's something that keeps them here, because they still like the game, even with its flaws.
Let us all focus on the fun and just stop discriminating or petronising each other's flaws. The world has enough mysery going on irl as it is. We don't need this in here, right?
So please, let us enjoy the game, give the winners credit, even if it was not a clear victory, but that's not their fault. If the game or the ME decides a match outcome differently than the logic, then we would have the same quarter finalists every time, normally speaking. But whatever didn't work out, or whatever grudge there still is, don't use the forum to out your frustrations in a personal matter. Whatever people may say, the outcome will not be changed, so congratz to the winners, better luck next time to the others...
Have a nice day, guys. Remember to cheer on for the finalists.

This is a bit late, but I'd like to thank Krzysztof for keeping his World Cup form alive. All his pre-match analysis, statistics, and interviews are flawless, just like they were at the U21 World Cup.

Keep up the good work. The semi-finals will be exciting.

I wonder if ENGLAND can pull off a surprise?

It’s coming home!!!
2025-11-16 17:17:56
The English are coming home, but only by plane, and that's it, hehehehe...........

A Marseille Thriller That Will Echo Through Sokker History
France - España 3:2
Dear World Cup fans from every corner of the Sokker universe this is the match we were all waiting for. A quarter-final that felt like a final. A clash so balanced that even the bookmakers shrugged and said: “Don’t ask us, we’re on break.”

On one side: France, led by the calm but cunning strategist baloomao, fresh off a composed 2–0 win over the surprising Vietnam.

On the other: Spain, under the fiery command of payas, whose squad demolished Turkey 6–1 just a week ago in a performance that had half the Sokker world shouting “Olé!” and the other half asking what on earth Turkey did to deserve that.

Both teams arrived in Marseille knowing one thing: win, and you are guaranteed at least a bronze medal and a place in the history books of Sokker. Lose, and you join the long queue of “What if…?”

Tactical Setup: Courage vs. Control

Baloomao lined France in his signature Baloo42Ail3 shape (5-4-1). Practical. Controlled. Slightly conservative, but deadly when executed well.

Payas answered with a bold 5-2-3, basically telling the world: “Three strikers or nothing.” Spain came to score and they did but unfortunately for them, not enough.

And here’s the shocker:
France, with only ONE striker, produced more shots on target (9) than Spain’s trio (8).
Sometimes quality beats quantity. Sometimes tactics beat bravery. Sometimes… well, sometimes football is just weird.

TACTICS:
In this image, you can see how much space the French team had in the midfield.

In this image, we can see that Spain played very offensively, with an aggressively high defensive line, but we can also see how much space the two French midfielders had on the sides.

And in this image, we can see how much the French defensive line drops back when the ball is in Spain's half of the field; this is what differentiated the defensive lines of the two teams.
A little curiosity: I noticed that this very aggressive, advanced defensive line of Spain reminded me a lot of Poland's defensive line against Brazil, and Poland also lost their match on that day.

Match Events -The Rollercoaster Begins

Spain Strikes First (39’)
After a tense opening with chances for both sides, disaster struck for France. Lemonnier clipped Pesquera in the box. Penalty.
De la Sagra stepped up and buried it with confidence: 0–1 Spain.
Halftime stats: possession Spain 56%, France 44%. Advantage Spain but only on paper.

Second Half -Chaos, Cards, and Comebacks
France made a change early… and then came the turning point nobody expected.

64’ – Marc earns his second yellow-red card.
France down to 10 men. Another penalty. Another perfect finish from de la Sagra.
0–2 Spain.
At this point, many French fans clutched their baguettes in despair. But football writes better scripts than Hollywood.

70’ – France Awakens
A foul by González Torres -penalty for France.
Charpentier converts.
1–2. Game on.

81’ – The Stadium Erupts
Faubert delivers. Luyindula is fouled. Free kick.
Charpentier steps up again and curls it in with elegance that would make Zidane shed a tear.
2–2. France equalize with 10 men!

86’ – The Moment of Glory
Faubert Béguin. A shaky first touch, but then… BOOM
A strike into the net, and Marseille explodes.
3–2 France

The comeback is complete. The impossible becomes inevitable.
France advance to the World Cup semifinals, securing at least a bronze medal and a whole lot of new fans.

Post-Match Thoughts:
Spain bow out, but they do so proudly. Their football in this tournament was beautiful, especially the unforgettable 6–1 cosmic performance vs. Turkey, a favorite for the title.

Coach payas, thank you for entertaining us. Spain deserved applause, and they got it.
France, meanwhile, join a very exclusive club:
winning a knockout match despite receiving a red card.
Yes, just like Brazil vs. Poland earlier history REALLY likes its plot twists.

Man of the Match: Benoît Charpentier (France)

Two clutch goals.
Cold-blooded mental strength.
The engine of the comeback.
Without him, this report would be titled “Spain march to semifinals.”
With him, France fly forward.

What’s Next? Semifinal: France vs. Brazil
A match dripping with drama.
A match too big to predict.
A match where luck, discipline, and pure heart may decide everything.
Will baloomao guide France into the World Cup Final?
Will Brazil crush another dream?
One thing is certain: we are in for a masterpiece.

Why is Sokker unable to broadcast games in real time without any predetermined computer calculations, which would virtually rule out manipulation? Do you have a conclusive answer to this question???
2025-11-16 21:55:32
Wonderful :-)
2025-11-16 22:04:22
A obvious conclusion from everything that has been said here: the engine is a shit whenever a European team loses to a South American team. End.

Your comment is off-topic, sad, and rude – that's the kind of behavior :( I wish you more joy from the game

Thank you Krzysztof for such a precise analysis of such a thrilling match.

Good luck to France in the semi-finals!

Why is Sokker unable to broadcast games in real time without predefined computer calculations, which would virtually rule out any possible manipulation?

Do you have a conclusive answer to this question?

Or to put it another way: Why is it not possible to broadcast SOKKER games in real time today? What are the arguments against it?
2025-11-16 22:36:53
Do it
