I checked and it's the highest ever rating of Polish NT during World Cup
last 4 WC max of PL was 86.5... so very big difference
very weird because there were definitely stronger teams in the past, especially in defence and midfield (nobody is even close to 5x 17 in Poland, very very far from that)
so mostly luck but probably highest rating in World Cup history ^_^
Eh... How the hell do you play against a team with such a rating :)) Maybe the World Cup is already decided. We need to play like Bournemouth in their last two matches :))) Or pay the referee :)))
Romania can play against Poland a more equal match, but let's hope will be in the final :P
Nah it's not how the game works. This season I was doing some tactic testing, but still lost vs Turkey, Belgium, drawn against Argentina.
Even today the 15:1 in shots and 3:0 doesn't tell the real story. Decho made a very risky and good defensively tactic, it was 0:0 till 65th minute, could have ended as a draw with a bit more luck to Slovensko. After 0:1 he changed to a crazy 424 and then Slovensko collapsed.
The ratings are very affected by side skills, Poland indeed has some great side skills among defenders - some even 17 technique, some 15-16 playmaker. So it's impressive and increases the ratings, but then when you watch the game you often can't believe that they actually have those skills because you see 15-16 playmaker defenders kicking the ball to throw in, or 17 technique defender who miscontrolls and easy pass etc.

Happy to play the final against Romania, why not :P honestly I will be happy with any medal at this WC although it would be of course great to win :)
