Fact is they changed nothing in the match engine in last ~16 years. Possibly the level of teams increased (so many teams with 80+ rating, more than before) and that somehow increased the randomness / handicap effect.

I know what you mean. I also have nothing against losing against equal / better opponent, after being beaten tactically etc.. Perfectly fine with that. But it's so frustrating to lose when you can see that your team has been better and 18 striker ATTs in 16-18 form just couldn't score a single goal from x perfect situations.

And I also cannot accept this. For the umpteenth time, I will give this unique example. In penalties, I make changes and 5 footballers with over 17 goals play. The opponent has only two with 17. And I lose. The game does not take into account that I took the trouble to anticipate that there would be penalties. Someone simply decided that another should win. Manipulation that they are already beginning to notice a lot of people. Their end is approaching. It's not just the World Cup. The same happens in international tournaments. Soon they will be left without people who pay. And then we will laugh.

Don’t forget, this is my third consecutive World Cup where I’ve taken Brazil to the semifinals. Sure, there’s an element of randomness in the engine, but that alone isn’t enough to make you a winner.
Otherwise, it would be easier to just use a pre-made tactic that comes with the game. Try doing that and see how it goes.

I have tons and tons of tactics created for Brazil and more than double that for my own team.

Buddy, your tactic is very bad. Don't take it personally. You should have left even against Poland. It's a shame that you don't see where you are making mistakes. The fact that the game helped you now means nothing. In the next round, you could be eliminated as well.

Regarding the handicap, last week Portugal wasted 7 plays in 1v1 situations against Hellas' GK. Therefore, if the handicap exists, it undoubtedly sometimes benefits the team it should disadvantage. And that's the problem; the problem is when things work contrary to what they were supposedly implemented.

Poland is sometimes disadvantaged because of the handicap. I'm against it, as it's sometimes exaggerated. But if Poland loses because of the handicap... at least it's in line with the implementation the developers made, even if someone disagrees.

On the other hand, when a weak team wastes 7 1v1s against a much stronger team, the story is different. What's implemented in the code is the opposite of what happened, and that's why people then use the word "robbery".

I hope I have been clear about the difference between Poland's bad luck and the bad luck of other teams.

the fact that they added more substitutions is a simple example they affected the ME maybe is cause before we had one game per week and we did not see how fucked up is ME and now we have the feeling is more unfair ... the point is it doesnot mater who random pushes this or last week its a fact that almost second game pushes to unfair results ..

Well, what is happening annoys people. It's clear, anyone can see it. The game supported Brazil against Croatia. Supported Brazil against Slovakia. Supported Brazil in the round of 16 against Poland. Now the game has decided Brazil should advance again. Tell me how the hell we are supposed to play the game so that we don't see what's happening.

Yes luck is a part of the game but if not why would we play? We should make a Romania against Poland final every year just to be fair to best teams? What would be the point?!

France has been world champion last season and is now semi final. French teams won 2 of the 3 higher international cup rank last season. Instead of crying you should question yourself more because I sware that no french user paid admins :D

At first you say it is not normal that Romania and Polska had been eliminated because they have better team and after you say it is not normal that Brasil won against Suomi while Brasilian team is much better in EVERY individual marks...

I have 8 players in my team playing for french NT right now, I have been playing for more than 20 years now and never get so great french players. And I would not change one of them with a Suomi's one...

Bulgaria? What is the point with Bulgaria now? Men you have a 17/16/16 striker in Bulgarian NT right now, it would not happen for french even in our worst nightmare... I do not know what you imagine about others but stop fantasize about yours...
