Subject: [TRANSFER TODAY] Sokker dont work

2022-05-08 20:07:49
Folchini was sold many hours after sokker came back online, there is no reason to cancel this one...
2022-05-08 20:11:32
He had a whole day less of bids. Why do You think thats fair? It was sold in half of what he really is worth. It's easy to give your opinion on what is fair or not if You are not the one being robbed

How do I get my multi divine player back that sold less than his weekly wage during down time?

Write your countries admins I think.

Many bids happen when the deadline is almost over.
I'm sure a lot of players check the TL if they see something that could be interesting for them.
Besides, Sokker was still online for some users, not for everybody.
Yesterday I checked Sokker every 15-20 min and was still down.
It's fair to cancel all the transfers that happened yesterday.

Ok bu his player was sold today at 19.28 i think there were enough time for bidding...
2022-05-08 21:53:01
Enough time for bidding is exactly 48 hours
2022-05-08 22:10:20
I think they are doing something to fix.I am trying to sell some players but when I look at transfers menu:/players to sell it appears only a player I dodnt send to new club that was sold yesterday.
2022-05-08 22:48:27
Imho, rules says 48 hours of biding, no matter 1 user or 100 users bids for a player.
I understand devs are working in a new Sokker system and stuff and this downtime was totally out of plans, but I'm sure they can work on the issues with yersterday's transfers.

Imo, if there are downtimes, planned or not, for more than 10 hours, ALL players placed for sale with the deadline within those 10 hours or after, but placed for sale before the downtime, should be cancelled automatically! This should be an auto-script in the selling process.
On the other hand, I too think this downtime was not planned.
However, they have an obligation to report something to all users, preferably with a general private mail from any admin or dev to each manager + an official announcement on the log-in page if you're not able to log in properly.
And in the end, if they plan an update that will take down the site, even only for 5 minutes, it should be reported the same way, 72h in advance, this to prevent unlucky sales or at least, give all players the chance to cancel their sale OR to wait until after the downtime...

Downtimes were always a part of sokker, so people are used to them. It sucks, but it happens.

But ZERO info about what happened, no explanation, no 'sorry' is ridiculous considering what they were writing in the beginning about a new start, community etc.

It's also quite amazing that after so many years there is still no automatic process for transfers during a downtime. It's 2022 and admins still just cancel/redo SOME transfers that they decide should be corrected.

I think it's evident sokker needs to employ more people, it's probably hard without more revenue yet but seems like the 2 devs (or whatever the small number of people working on sk) just isn't really enough.

I offer a potential solution that I was thinking before: why not make some pieces open source. Nothing related to the core match engine but web dev stuff easily could have been worked in by the community or so many bugs that could be worked on. Like so many people offer to volunteer to make programs and be admins and tutors. Just seems like they can't get organized properly with the support they already have. It's a shame really they don't take full advantage of this (unless their dev processes are outdated and something isn't allowing them to do this).

very sorry for what happened, I have lost a lot of money without any consolation and nobody took responsibility for what happened. It really is a game that is about to end and that explains the small number of users that remained.

Real sadness, the last one to turn off the light
