The game has become - Poland a permanent winner :( The successes of others depend on when they will meet it!!! Personally, I don't understand why all players are not trained as they are in reality. Or at least a compromise decision could be made - 10 players up to and including 21 years old, and that’s it for those above this age. This way, there will be a chance for smaller nations to develop.

I think it would have zero impact, best players are always trained anyway and weak/average players make no difference for u21/NT

at the same time it would impact club competition a lot since everyone could train 10 u21 + 10 older, too easy for teams with a lot of money

The game has become - Poland a permanent winner :(

Poland: 1 WC in last 4, 2 WC in last 16
Poland u21: 1 WC in last 3, 3 WC in last 11

But I agree that especially in u21 with lower user number it's getting easier for Poland / other big countries and harder for medium/small NTs

It's not about training as you suggested, it would change nothing, the issue is number of good youths in age group. Smaller number of users with youth school = lower quality of u21 (main NT can use players from 7+ age groups, u21 from 1-2)

injuries is huge issue :( they can ruin even best players! and not only the fun of the game ...
and that is what made advantage to Poland ... i had attaker that was injured whole season 3 injuries in a row he still plays for NT but one season more could make it even better to oppose players
you had a lot of issues for injuries on last world cup but as rating perfomance it did not affect you much same issues in country as ours drops 4 5 points in avg rating..

anyways i had realy nice week without sokker and this is bit off topic maybe is time to reduce the time for sokker as all changes they do are not consulted with comunity

i doubt anyone that works full time can spend proper amount of time for 4games per week

Yeah, if I had the same amount of injury / form problems during previous World Cup with Germany, then it would be a terrible blow and the midfielder would be much worse than the ones that played.

While the MID problems are over for now, suddenly I've got a huge problem with strikers - out of Top 25 strikers (based on MAX value) only 6 have form 14+

Top 10 ATT form:
17, 15, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 6, 6, 1

In most NTs that would be a huge issue, for Poland it's not really a terrible problem. So I agree, the amount of high level players is definitely the biggest advantage of biggest countries.

Previously, small/middle Nations compensated for problems (injuries, form, red cards) with big talents who came off with weaker characteristics or with U20s. We had to identify them and train them as best we could to be solid substitutes when needed. Except that these players, with 6-9 weeks less, don't yet have the technical skills to be "solid."

Before these problems, we accepted them; it was up to us to prepare our bench well... but now, even if you do things right, you can't manage this situation.
It puts all the small and medium-sized nations at a disadvantage, except those who benefit from their engine. (Plus, we no longer even have the XP advantage that allowed us to improve players in this area, as the DEVS have removed in friendly matches.. double punishment! While the big nations can successfully qualify in the U20 to boost their XP.. triple punishment.)
The big nations are clearly at an advantage, but it's mainly the medium and small ones that are much more disadvantaged now.

(Hypothesis... And the answer to this problem of big nation advantage would be to increase the game engine's orientation. Instead of balancing the debates like before, they favor the outsiders of the competition more, so that it is less visible in competitions, otherwise the big nations would win everything.. except that it results in a mess, even more so in the championship. And that's exactly what we see.)

Totally agree on this, plus form

Poland has better and more players, they deserve it. But when it comes to restrictions, small countries are heavily punished

I primarily train from my academy and mainly players up to 21 years old; any player who has a good distribution up to 18.5 years old, even without talent, has a chance for U21.
The problem with smaller nations is more about the quantity; there are not enough players on the bench. The other problem is that every year at least one talented young player comes out, and to develop them fully takes 13 seasons - there are only 10 slots :) no matter how I think about it, I can't even train my own talents.
Teams with money - given that there are more training slots, I believe that most quality players will not go to the market; instead, everyone will train them to the end and utilize them. When there is less supply or it is smaller, the money factor will be less, at least for me.

If we speak for U21 for smaller communities, the only way how to success in WC is to know training for all players and make plans how to develop players from 18yo to 21yo. Just for example, only 8 of 29 players for this WC are not among Serbian clubs, and for talents and future stars, we make plans together who is going to buy and train which player...

It is the same with us, even recently 98% of the starters are trained with us + the person arranging the lineup has been working with the U21 for years :) but the problem is that the most talented among them have to continue to be trained. Here comes the problem: you gather 10 talented players and ... you stop with the youth players, because they need to be trained for the men's team. When the nation is small, how many players can you train for the two national teams? Not to mention that injuries at any moment can ruin a player (two long injuries and he is already average).
The question is how to help the development of small nations to be competitive.

Current WC squad, 75%
Next season WCQ squad 66,7%
Next WC squad, 83,6%

this is of around top 20-25 players im gonna have closest to play

And we count 3 foreigners (including me) a part of those numbers

Before the cup my 5 favorites for medals were Poland U21, Romania U21, Italy U21, Magyarország U21 and Brazil U21.

And the Black Horse was België, who knocked out Romania.

So, not bad so far... ;-)

Good luck to everyone!

Congratulations.

Unfortunately, there are still technical problems in the game, national team matches have not started, matches at 8:00 and there are no minutes of delay shown. Are we finally going to play the U21 World Cup finals today?
