Subject: [U21] World Cup , by Krzysztof/
The elections for the national team coach have already started and will last 1 week!
A minor change will also affect Saturday’s national team matches. Like friendly matches, World Cup qualifiers and finals will also follow an arcade format - meaning players will not receive a training bonus, but they will also not be at risk of injury :)
No one will be hiding the attributes of national team players anymore.
If anyone is still hiding them, it's probably out of spite.

I once had a situation where a player was on the national team, but I removed him because he wouldn't show me his player's skills.
When he was about to turn 22, the player's owner asked me why I wasn't calling him up, because in his opinion he's a strong player, and he only showed me his skills via SK Mail.
I told him that even if he were really strong, I wouldn’t have called him up if he didn’t show me his skills.
Now I’m in a similar situation again. Before calling up this player, I saw his skills and realized he could become a starter on the national team I coach in the future, but I’m thinking of dropping him even though he’ll surely become strong.
I think this because showing the coach a player’s skills is a sign of respect; if he’s strong enough, I’m very happy to call him up.
Many hide a player’s skills out of fear of a call-up that might lead to an injury, meaning they can’t resell that player at a good price.
But in any case, I don’t like hiding a player’s skills.
I have to try to build the strongest possible team based on the national team I’m coaching, partly because the community wants to see what I can do, how many games I win, and if I can put the right players in the right positions.

it has nothing to do with reselling
people don't want their players injured because they want to train them or they want them to play for them in league or cup games
and often NT coaches don't care that they play against rating 60 team and still use best possible players because it's easy to always use the best...
before my only Champions Cup final I lost my first team 3x 18 ATT because he got injured in a game against Ghana or some other very low level NT. There was no risk this NT would lose, I asked the coach to not use my player that week - he ignored me and used the player, I couldn't use the ATT in the final and lost.
that's what people fear and why they hide the skills, they don't train players for 10 seasons since 16yo so that they get injured for their important games while playing games for someone else in NT

It’s definitely as you say; many coaches prefer to train players to watch them get stronger.
I prefer to think that some coaches train them just to make money.
The problem is that when you lose, the community scrutinizes everything from your tactics to the players you used, and you have to explain the reasoning behind those choices.
If I write that I didn’t use that top player because someone doesn’t want that player to get injured, I come across as ridiculous because the community thinks I’m doing favors for users or that I’m letting users who aren’t coaches make decisions for me.
Obviously, this is just my opinion, and it certainly goes against what all the users in this game think.

I understand what you mean and especially in small and medium NTs there is often need to use best 11 always and using second choice ATT and then losing unlucky game will be seen as big mistake.
On the other hand I had people asking me to not use their players because they need them healthy for their club. And with Poland NT it's not a problem, I can use second or third 11 and still get a great team so in qualifiers I almost never use best players. But with other countries it's much harder and people often ask not to use their player. With Poland at 1st World Cup I had 8 or more top players with hidden skills and owners ignoring me. In the WC final match I used 5 players without even knowing their skills.
That's why I feel that this change is a good thing. NT coach can use best 11 every time he feels he needs them, but the owners don't get punished if such players receives and injury.

Hiding players' skills option is a stupid feature anyway, they should remove it
There was so much discussion on even getting the skills visible to the NT coaches, that a few percent of users hiding the skills isn’t a big deal imo. Now there’s no need to do it to prevent injuries, but some will keep on doing it just to piss the NT coach off. Let them have that fun.. :)
Those guys definitely have sauna fun. I’m married since ages so no fun for me since ages.. :-(
I do not understand such behavior to hide a player's skills for the national team's benefit and its success, and I will understand it even less now when the player is not injured after the match and the player's owner still hides the skills. Therefore, it should be abolished!
