Subject: [DEV] International Cup
His issue is that Champions Cup had less top level teams, so it was easier for him to compete, because there were many teams playing for much lower rating than his team + with lucky draws he needed only a couple of lucky games to achieve something. Plus to play at CC level he only had to win the Bulgarian Cup or League. Now he will have to beat Level 2 Cup to play in Level 1. And he didn't need any high level continuity, just 1 good season to qualify to CC.
In other words, this will be harder for him because more strong teams will be able to take part in international competitions, instead of 50% made of weaker opponents and it will be harder for him to qualify, while before he could qualify basically whenever he wanted.

This format is easy for me but is not international competition any more ...or at least in few seasons
Yes, competition available every season for every team from every country is "not international competition", cool

Well if in top division has only few country flags then is not
.I never said 50 rating or walk over is fine in cl but that can be improved ...

everyone can play for 75 or 80
you can have teams from Latvia, Letzeburg, whatever country you want

if Bulgaria had 1 place in CC and you had to compete with 2 teams playing for 80+ you would be the first to ask for more teams playing internationally...

I wonder if something gonna be done with the pitches?
With the current 4 games per week (including youth school), pitches are an absolute mess most of the time, making tactics useless because the ball is just bouncing around, so there are more fouls and chances of injury goes up, same with yellow cards, etc.
I always have my upkeep at 100% but it seems like I'm one of the few and its kinda disgusting from fellow managers that don't follow that simple courtesy.
With one more game, its obvious its gonna be unsustainable.
Anyway, I'm thinking that the only way to fix it is to just eliminate it completely from the game. Just let the pitches be 100% all the time. It's unfair for the users that keep their pitches in top condition, to be penalised just as much as the local team when playing them at their crappy turf.

Imho you have too wide 'farming' definition - not nice to other users - e.g. to me, becouse I just created a very strong team (>80% note) starting with 16-17yo players.
I said it in a previous post: I don't find it morally wrong. I farm myself—simply because I'm not motivated in competing and I find training more interesting as of now. Don't take the term "farming" as belittling or offensive. Its not in my eyes.
It's one of good way to reach wins in this game. Not easy way i could say.
Also, I never said that it was easy or it didn't deserve praise. My problem is that this is the ONLY way to truly reach the highest level. It's simply impossible to be at the top without spending 10+ seasons in which you deliberately step back from competition in order to focus exclusively on training/hoarding money. You basically have no other option and this is a system flaw in my opinion. I want people to have a shot without pausing competitive play for years.

I never invest in upkeep and honestly haven't seen any problems with pitch condition, as long as it had highest quality and there aren't 3 home games in a row...
But yeah, with 1 more game weekly it might be worth lowering the pitch degradation per game. I agree that having terrible pitches is pointless but I doubt they will delete it from the game.

What about the National Cup winners this season or next seasons? Is Cup no longer important at INT level?

If 'farming' isn't negative meaning - ok. I felt it different. The rest I agree with you.
Neither country Cup or League will have any impact on International Cup. Next season is based on league position (I think) and then further seasons are based on promotions / relegations between International Cup tiers.
Bulgaria had many teams this season 75+...did I asked for second team in CC
27% teams in sokker is from poland, so in average there will be 35 polish teams in top level. And this change will give more equal chance for everyone to win CC, as before I know that I was privileged with chance of winning CC if I compare my team with some polish teams.
But if this change is good in way that now some teams can train in national competitions and play only international with best squad is to be seen

There will be different uses of more games and everyone will find it's own place in the competition.
Is there going to be more Polish teams? Sure.
But there will also be more strong teams from other countries than in CC, so we will have more balanced competition and in a few seasons every level 1 match will be hard for everyone, specially after Week 6 in real cup style matches, which will include top 64 teams in the game.
As for pitch, one more game will influence quality.
Maintenance gives 5% quicker improvement over the regular daily improvement, so 50% gives 10 days and 100% gives 20 days of constant daily 5% quicker improvement. There is no instant sort to say healing to 100% pitch quality.
There will be different uses of more games and everyone will find it's own place in the competition.
