Obviously I was sarcastic :)

Bad teams will play against bad teams, good teams will play against good teams, top teams will play against top teams. You won't have "bad Bulgarian teams losing all time against top Polish teams".

if anything Poland has most teams that are "ghosts" and do nothing, so they will be easy target

Obviously I was sarcastic :)

where exactly were you sarcastic...? it's very hard to discuss with you...

Otherwise, in the long run, the competition will only be interesting for a few countries.

The same as in current format, only difference is there will be more teams capable of winning because they won't have to win league or cup in their country to do it.
More top teams, more fun, only one winner. In every tier cup.

For the most part, I don't share your concerns, but of course everything will depend on how the whole game reals (finances, injuries, cards, etc.) will adapted to the new situation with the new cup.
2025-12-04 13:46:29
I see it exactly the same way.

It's also more fun for teams that have bad start of season in league, usually after couple of games you know if you can win something or can't... you can get eliminated fast in national cup with bad luck etc.

So this way you will still have a third competition that you can concentrate on and try to win / promote.

Why are so many users frustrated with Polish teams, farming teams and the fact they weren't notified earlier about this competition? There are 11 pages of: but polish teams, but farming teams, but this, but that.. Some of these complaints are contracitory. You need to be consistently good to reach one of the highest levels, but you decided, after a few weeks into new season, that you are going to train players this season instead of competing for the highest places in the league. Isn't it a kind of, how you say, "farming"? You are not consistent this year so your reward is a competition where you belong based on this result. I don't want to say that it's good that we are not notified earlier about new competition, but all of us are in the same situation. My priority this season was a Domestic Cup, but I'm not going to ask devs to move start of new competition to next year because my team had worse season than I was expecting.

Focus on yourself, try to build your team, train your players to make them superstars, make good tactics, use your experience, win the thing in your league, increase your fanbase, increase your rank points, increase your sponsorship income, increase your stadium revenue, grab higher reward for league placement or create your own plan of reaching the top and you will be able to compete against anyone.

If some polish club is the best, they would win, what is the problem? Isn't the point to crown the best? So called farming teams, they also invested their time into organizing training, seasons of suffering, losing, young player injuries to earn huge amount of money. Today, with advanced training, there are enough superstar players to fill huge amount of top level clubs.

Exactly.

People don't realize that in every league in sokker, except the lowest ones, there are bottom 3-4 teams who are going to relegate, are tanking or selling their squads to start "again" going younger etc, and for them money from the game is poor. Following that logic, there won't be 12 Ekstraklasa teams on the top of new competition as there are lots of strong teams from all over the world who also don't have obstacles in winning domestic in order to win internationally.

And as history has proven, Polish winners are rare.

Oh mister replay on every post you missed my most important one maybe cause you do not have answer?
2025-12-04 13:56:05
It's not about who will win is about how big countries will become even stronger ...
2025-12-04 13:57:12
Only thing that I'm afraid of is "is it going to kill national leagues?". What is going to be a point of them if every team in the world is playing international tournament? Is it going to be more important than domestic competition?
2025-12-04 14:01:15
How?

Top teams will also lose fans and money as they must lose matches all except for one in their respective tier cup.
Also worth mentioning that 25% of every tier cup will be promoted and they might not be good enough to compete up there, like in current league system.

Every player is aware how to balance their competition and team, so why would this be any different?

I usually get Your point if view in discussion (even thou Im not always agreeing with it), but this time I struggle with Your reasoning :(

tbh I would leave CC as it is and let it live it's own life.
More trophies.

Jumping in way too late for this debate, but why did you forget one of the all-time strongest leagues in the game when listing the 70+ teams, Veikkausliiga? Our top-7 are all 70+ this season, despite using trainees in many of the games, many hitting 75+ regularly when not giving minutes to the young guys.

76.7 Compostela
72.9 Karsten Dream Team
72.7 Leopards
72.2 FC Pernam Bucano
71.9 Armoton Kanuuna
71.0 Karhu-team
70.9 FC Hirvijoki

But obviously I know where this is coming from. Karsten Dream Team is on the top of the table too close to the end of the season, after several years, so they have to get rid of the Champions Cup.

e: Ah, it was 100+ users countries. Anyways, I stick to my opinion. They don't dare to let me in CC again!!1!

Suomi strong!

I missed Finland because I only took the 100+ user countries, very nice level:) Even more why I think it will be a very good competition, it will be also good to see how many teams from x country are at top level etc. and teams from very small (5-15 users) will have a real opportunity to compete with teams at their level
