Shouldn't domestic league have bigger influence on your supporters and their expectations?
From when it was introduced it has much bigger influence then domestic cup, and at the end of the season, and I think it will work in a similar fashion with this comp.

what about your approach focusing on domestic competition ? how that will affect your country?
Why isn't the tournament being held as an arcade game?
In its announced form, the tournament will lead to major changes in all areas: finances, more training time, more playing time, more injuries, spectator numbers (and thus also the size of the stadiums) ...
Why all this? Why not in arcade mode? Then there would be no upheaval, and you could still enjoy meeting international opponents.
And it would also give those who don't want to participate a realistic chance to do so. Many don't want to participate because there are too many matches. And the suggestion that participation is voluntary is, of course, ridiculous when money is being distributed and losses have to be compensated for due to the reduction in spectator revenue.
So why not arcade games? Why make it so complicated?

That is a question to owners/devs. I may only speculate about that, but there are already 18 pages of such speculations and all important info is being lost in a shuffle :(

how the similar level will be matched since it will be based on final standings in this season which is unfair of course but thats another topic

again, you are stating that there is a direct inpact on fans and money. But you don't explain why. I don't get link between loosing against +10 ranked team, loosing fans, loosing money, weakening financial foundation of national league.
Please help me understand your logic.

1. no, there are no tickets, no training, no injuries. arcade more for 1st season.
2. what do you mean by "income share"? you mean how many teams from x country to Div 1, Div 2 etc? That's unknown, they have their algorithm and we will have to see
my Response if above answer trully happen:
1). then this is my unlucky season. Because for the first time i am on rank 1 on my liga 1, i should experience Champion CUP income, but the champion cup are replace by international cup that i should get more money from it on top DIVISION of international cup because i start from country league winner, and this new season i do not get any money because the international cup are decided as arcade match. If want to wait the 2nd season of international cup, this SURELY i cannot experience the money from DIVISION ONE [TOP DIVISION] of international cup because i am relegated to Second division. THIS IS very unlucky for me.
i want altought the match play use arcade rules, but club still can enjoy the money [ticket and ranking prize] from first season of international cup.

It is same like our normal league now, for example: an ilustration, club whom finish first season of international cup will receive ranking prize as follow: rank one will get 10000 usd, rank 2 get 9000 usd, and so on until rank 12 get 200 usd.

Another way. I would be interested in somehow will be a plan an official African or Asian Cup or Copa America.... Now always need organise them and not everybody want participate in this.
It could be good option after the WC for example.
