Subject: [DEV] International Cup

2025-12-09 10:09:31
This all is like saying only Premiership, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and League 1 can compete as all others are trash in compare to their clubs!

It sounds like everyone can win, but after all if you win X nation championship you are 2nd class "winner". Later you can't fight bot teams or 4th league winners. Did someone asked them what motivates them to play alone or against 2-3 other teams in their league?

I read quite a bit, not everything due to lack of time, but nowhere did I see any information on whether any of the programmers have considered how many more players will be needed to play three official matches per week without risking having 10+ injuries at some point. Definitely, in my opinion, this tournament will make the old rich teams even stronger instead of leveling the playing field, which was the idea when these changes started....
Personally, what attracted me to this game was the existence of national teams; it’s a pleasure to have internationals, but with these changes, making a national team will be even harder. I’ll explain it simply – such a player is made only if you keep him injury-free, i.e., he plays one official match for 96% training - who plays in the other 2, especially when you train 10 players for the national team??? which is mandatory for small nations!!!
Arguing about nonsense – fans, money, and overlooking the essential ruins the enjoyment of the game – creating players.

Players up to 26-27 years old rarely play for the national team (the active training period occurs in a low-risk zone), except for one season in the U21, but then they are rarely used in official matches for the club. Conclusion: you wrote a wrong example, at least for a person with long training experience :)))

But now, if I have your way of thinking, it becomes 4 - league, league, cup, + international :)))
The difference in matches is huge – domestic matches don’t matter for small nations – people who enjoy training earn respect by creating players, not by being on top. In an international tournament, you represent your nation, not yourself, which is different, at least for me. Every competitive game is about winning, but victories are different – being on top, playing collectively when the game has a similar scenario, and... here both came together without the necessary foundation for it to happen.
I’m writing all this only with the idea of making changes that would help bring about change. For me, something like a clinic, an extra training slot, or anything at all to develop players
would calm the users down. I’m not arguing, just giving ideas; the game, instead of being fun, is becoming stressful.

I'll make it short: you could have 500M, playing 3rd league, 100k stadium size, and so what? If you don't win your national championship or cup it was meaningless - noone even heard about you.
Now you can play lower league with trainees, buy 15 good players play and promote to IC championship from league 3? Seems not right...

Obviously star players will play more than they play now and obviously will add more injuries to them is simple as it is ...that will slow their development

You always replay to every post and most of the time with unrelated examples ..

For tires is obvious that it matters if you are second or six in final standings and problem is change is announced last min..

I don't see a difference here.

Difference was you need to win your league or cup at least. Here you can use 15 28-31y players without training them, and training 10 or 11 trainees in league and finance all that from just training/selling and IC revenue.

+1 It's like that and -1, because then you lose the thrill of having national team players
