Subject: [DEV] International Cup
As said, there are more things in it.
Negative and positive things at both sides.
I am 100% sure it will be better in lower division in total ( all things together).

Good luck in training youths, promoting from group and reaching the final all at the same time :P
Ok... This is still very hypothetical.
Easier does not mean guaranteed.
So let's say you can't train your trainees for whatever reason in domestic league at all.
You make it with your training squad (16yo-20yo) trainees to win a lower league division in international cup (will be very hard in my opinion)
You gain extra 13%/match * 6 extra matches = 90% more training. So let's say 1 training more per season for each player.
I don't think that will translate to much bigger profit from trainee value in comparisson to loss from ticket income. And that including best case scenario with winning all matches with a youth team.

If you manage to do that, yeah it would make sense. Problem is that IMO it's not possible to train young (16-18) players for profit and still win at that level.
But good luck with training youths & still winning in 2nd division next season, with opponents who have 70+ ratings :)
btw. in this case it is very possible that Div 2 will still be stronger than Div 1 next season, or at same level, in your case playing for relegation definitely doesn't make sense IMO

I don't think div 2 is stronger now than div 1, and for sure won't be in next season.
I hope there will be stats available for every level / cup so it will be easy to compare after 1st round
You might be right though, I expected that 2nd Div will have less teams playing for 50-60 than Div 1. On first glance it seems similar, but I don't have time to compare them manually.

If the champions from a small country goes to div1, remeber that the vice from the same country will play in div2 or 3.
This distribution means that there will be weaker teams at every level.

Yeah I expected that since Div 2 it won't be as much "country oriented" as that, more based on rank/rating etc.
At the same time, there are countries with 1 user, where his team didn't won the country championship. In that case such team doesn't play in div 1, but in lower one.
That means there are not 96 spots for country champs, but less.
And more spots for other good teams from biggest countries.

Great idea. It will add excitement to the game. I like it :)
But I have some questions;
I'm in the fifth league and I've seen a lot of fifth leagues. Is there any difference between these fifth leagues? Or were so many fifth leagues created because there are too many teams at that level?
What path will emerge when the top two teams in the group qualify?
Are the groups equal in terms of rating?
Is there a fixed shortcut link to the groups anywhere?
thanks

I can't arrange an Arcade match for the next monday, so probably the tournament will start next monday!
Question:
Your fan sentiment barometers are completely inaccurate. When will these extreme shortcomings finally be eliminated and a solution to this problem that is acceptable to all SOKKER users be found before you start working on something new?
