Yes to merging sokker nations. This IC is very welcome. Is not enough, but It will increase our chance of grow strong teams in small nations. Currently, sponsors and tickets are very low.

In the past I was able to build a +74 team.
Since reform (deflation), I sold my high waged players due the impossibility to keep finances in green.
Now I'm buying again because I'd like to compete internationally. So, good idea IC (not in arcade), even I don't like mixed groups and playoffs system.

And better, I hope there will be a big International competition in league mode in the future, as soon as possible.

Now that the topic has returned to the International Cup, I have a suggestion for the game developers.
Next season, it would be very appropriate, and in accordance with the practices of international federations that organize continental or world tournaments, to establish some requirements regarding a minimum capacity of fans in stadiums and also regarding the quality of the pitch.
These measures would reduce the chances of injuries and increase revenue, making the tournament more attractive.

Complementing the previous post: the requirement regarding stadium size should be progressive according to the different divisions, while the pitch should be of the highest quality in all divisions, with the possibility of establishing a mechanism for advance payments to be settled with the revenue from the World Cup matches.

For about 100k you can buy angelgrass which never needs maintenance and is the highest possible level of grass.
As for the progression of the stadium, do you suggest that relegating teams should lose a portion of their stadium? That would be a popular addition to the game :-s

No, I advocate for a minimum stadium size in each division as a condition for participating in the Cup. Regarding the grass, yes, there's no reason to use inferior grass. But it happens in the Copa do Brasil, for example, that teams use lawn grass and cause serious problems for larger teams.

etc.
Shedule is fixed, so you could already know the whole path to the final. If I'll find how it looks I'll post it.

@didiz yes but this will be a problem next season.. everything more then 15 days injury with a lot games in a week is too much.. slavista has the point for next season..

Sure but youll get more money from tickets (3 home games in group stage) so maybe it can be worth it
