Subject: [DEV] International Cup
so for what i understand in the long term level 1 will be complete by the whole Ekstraklasa :)
beyond that i like the idea of rewarding the competition

I've won Argentinian National Cup and then started to train young players the whole season.
I assume I will be part of the International Cup, just because I am qualified for the next Champions Cup.
Otherwise, wouldn't it be better to inform these changes at least 2 seasons before they are implemented?

At the same time, why do you think that starting a team of 16yo players and creating a generation to fight for trophies is bad...? You literally spend 12 seasons on building the team from zero, that's 3 years of creating a team that can never win anything or just a couple of trophies... in my view that has a lot of merit and at the same time allows different teams to have success instead of same teams winning all the time
My answer is in your second sentence. I don't think it's morally bad or anything like that. It's just a very bad way to present the game to new users. "Hey guys, we have a great game that goes like this: you spend three years doing practically nothing, and then for about a year you have a chance to win trophies, and then repeat" That doesn't sound like a great ad to me :D
We're old and bored users with little to none motivation for constant fight every season. But just imagine that you are a new and motivated player who eagerly awaits every match and you realize that this is the only way to win here.
Until now, it was possible to reach the pinnacle of the game CC by playing in the so-called normal way—trying to be the best you could be every season, without any farming/money-gathering periods. Teams have done it, some even more than once. Now it will be just as impossible as winning the Ekstraklasa in this way.
I think there are several ways to encourage this style of play with restrictions or bonuses in training slots or in a financial way (they tried wtih fans' expectation but they failed completely with this attempt), but that's not the topic here, at least they should figure out how to make it less easy for farmers to be in the top international tournament all at once, so that "normal" teams also have a shot.

I agree with most everything, but I will say that a 24 day injury on a senior player IS basically half the season...

Why do you think so? I see a lot of other very strong teams imho the same level or even betters.

Finally something new and nice news, i don't get why some are so disappointed about it, to me it looks fair and exactly the same as CL was before, people who performed there could easily do so in the new system. What's new is that every team will have a nice international cup to be played that's great actually and gives more value to the game
yeah maybe... let´s see, For sure its gonna be interesting!
I'm not one of the DEVs so I can't tell you anything, I think it's still not decided if Champions Cup will be played next season.
IMO CC should be played next season normally, I agree that it would be unfair to people who qualified to it and hope to earn money in it, since in part it's their reward for qualifying. But that it's just my opinion, it doesn't have any impact.

yeh exactly what i said you put so many efforts for something that is extreme stupidity
every time you personally don't like something from your point of view or from the point of playing that you like, you say that it's stupid... that's your opinion only. for you it's stupid, for me it's one of the best ideas in history of this game, for someone else the change can be neutral or fine.
there never was a change / game addition that everyone liked. people like different things, people concentrate on different things here, people have different playing styles etc. but writing that something is "extreme stupidity" just because YOU don't like it is weak imo...

I've already shown data with teams playing for 70+ (on average)
52 in Poland
27 in Italy
18 in Romania
13 in Brasil
12 in Spain
12 in France
11 in Germany
10 in Ceska Rep
9 in Belgium
9 in Greece
8 in Hungary
5 in Turkiye
3 in England
2 in Vietnam
1 in Argentina
this will change when teams start using their best team, since the averages are influenced by training youths in league or not having to use best players against weaker opponents etc.
but since there are 128 places in Level 1 I would assume that only around 30% should be from Poland, we will see.
"rest of the world" is very strong, it's often easier to make a top 80+ team in a smaller country than in Poland... look at top rating teams from Champions Cup this season
82.6 ufhcsTC
_SK_
80.4 Compostela
80.2 FC Nova
80.1 Kondori
79.8 ΑΙOΛIKOΣ
79.6 Raqueto
79.3 ARSENAL CITY
78.8 FC Galette-Saucisse
F.C. LANUS
77.4 Jereatrico FC
77.2 Aruba Falcons
77.1 Jälgimäe Lõvid
77.0 Viva Jujuy!
76.8 FC Krościenko Wyżne
76.5 FC ORANGE
76.4 FK Vllaznia
76.2 chinos F.C.
76.1 Ekseri Grbavi
Dragon Ball
Lots of strong teams that on good day can play for 78-80 or more

At the highest level of the Cup, 128 teams play.
Do you have any doubt that in a few seasons, with promotions and relegations, the entire Ekstraklasa will be playing in it?
I think that in a few seasons, at least 30 Polish teams will be in Level 1.

In general I agree with you - I would also like to actually PLAY the game every season and have fun both with games and training and be able to play at top level. All of those things are nice.
At the same time I don't see a way to properly implement it without hurting the game long-term and making it impossible from small/average/new teams to improve and catch up with older/bigger teams. If you allow me to do everything (win, make money on matches, make money on training / train youngsters for myself etc.) then my team will never get weak and I will always have the upper hand. Same with many other teams like mine.
Creating a situation where small/average/new teams are just training pods whose destiny is to create players for big guys (via youth school and training) is a terrible perspective. Now it takes time, but you actually can improve the team, get bigger and then take place of teams that used their resources and can't play at max any longer.

Ekstaklasa will very strong next and few next seasons, so yes each of those teams may be playing at the highest level.
