Subject: [DEV] International Cup
so for what i understand in the long term level 1 will be complete by the whole Ekstraklasa :)
beyond that i like the idea of rewarding the competition

I've won Argentinian National Cup and then started to train young players the whole season.
I assume I will be part of the International Cup, just because I am qualified for the next Champions Cup.
Otherwise, wouldn't it be better to inform these changes at least 2 seasons before they are implemented?

At the same time, why do you think that starting a team of 16yo players and creating a generation to fight for trophies is bad...? You literally spend 12 seasons on building the team from zero, that's 3 years of creating a team that can never win anything or just a couple of trophies... in my view that has a lot of merit and at the same time allows different teams to have success instead of same teams winning all the time
My answer is in your second sentence. I don't think it's morally bad or anything like that. It's just a very bad way to present the game to new users. "Hey guys, we have a great game that goes like this: you spend three years doing practically nothing, and then for about a year you have a chance to win trophies, and then repeat" That doesn't sound like a great ad to me :D
We're old and bored users with little to none motivation for constant fight every season. But just imagine that you are a new and motivated player who eagerly awaits every match and you realize that this is the only way to win here.
Until now, it was possible to reach the pinnacle of the game CC by playing in the so-called normal way—trying to be the best you could be every season, without any farming/money-gathering periods. Teams have done it, some even more than once. Now it will be just as impossible as winning the Ekstraklasa in this way.
I think there are several ways to encourage this style of play with restrictions or bonuses in training slots or in a financial way (they tried wtih fans' expectation but they failed completely with this attempt), but that's not the topic here, at least they should figure out how to make it less easy for farmers to be in the top international tournament all at once, so that "normal" teams also have a shot.

I agree with most everything, but I will say that a 24 day injury on a senior player IS basically half the season...

Why do you think so? I see a lot of other very strong teams imho the same level or even betters.

Finally something new and nice news, i don't get why some are so disappointed about it, to me it looks fair and exactly the same as CL was before, people who performed there could easily do so in the new system. What's new is that every team will have a nice international cup to be played that's great actually and gives more value to the game
yeah maybe... let´s see, For sure its gonna be interesting!
At the highest level of the Cup, 128 teams play.
Do you have any doubt that in a few seasons, with promotions and relegations, the entire Ekstraklasa will be playing in it?
I think that in a few seasons, at least 30 Polish teams will be in Level 1.

Ekstaklasa will very strong next and few next seasons, so yes each of those teams may be playing at the highest level.

Can anyone confirm?
