1 or 2 more slots is a must i think...
No one can be against that, if u make a votation it will be 100% votes to add 1 or 2 slots, but idk if that can/will happen

I'm not sure about +2 slots, but +1 is a very neutral change to the game and probably easy to make. Less risky change than adding money to the game.
I think that sooner or later it will happen.

I'm not sure why 11 aren't already there!

There's eleven players in one team but 10 slots for training - no logic at all! ;)

Now when we've agreed that 11 already should be there, one more make it 12 - ideal slots number! :D

The ideal is 11 + 7, which is the main lineup and the substitutes :) or at least 11 + 4 per position player :D

Yeah, make it 18 and kill the transfer market. :-S

Please be careful with proposing such changes which might have serious unwanted impacts on the gameplay.

Exactly. It could have serious implications which are now hard to guess because would depend on choices of majority users.

Possibilities are the TL would be dead (why sell if you can train 18...) and that prices of young players would go even higher since rich users could buy another 8 youths. This in turn would push users with less money out of "good youth market" and they would have to train much, much worse players than today.

+1 slot isn't as impactful in the grand scale, but IMO even +2 could end up problematic.

Another possible problem with huge number like 18
I could train 11 for my first team in league games
and then train 5 or 7 for profit in friendly / IC - I doubt that would be good for the game overall

For me is good more slots, no matter how many. Since the problem to train top players is the current lack of talent of most of players, the impact will be mainly for the medium players, not much for top players.

Let those who like to trade sort themselves out :) I like to train and use my own players. I haven’t checked, but I’m almost sure that the income money is enough for salaries – so… I don’t see how this will kill the game.
You say people will buy :P, well, if there are people who sell young players… if everyone trains their best ones – I don’t see a problem.

I am against :D

Instead of more training slots or injecting money into the ecosystem, they could simply reduce injuries a little bit to compensate for the new matches so no need for a larger squad compared to now.

they will not do it so beter extra slot then nothing
2026-02-07 03:17:05
I guess they will cut them down at least a little bit. But anyway I am against new slot(s) regardless of the injuries situation - would vote yes only if they are age-restricted. For example 1 or 2 extra slots avalaible only for 24y+. So they can't be used by farmers as another cog in their money-making machine.
2026-02-07 04:30:10
this will be good compensation for those train NT players so yes with 2 hands

What a good world it would be if all the players in the team could be trained. All the ..... whose only goal is to make money would disappear. Everyone would rely on their own academy, and there would be peace and quiet; then every match would become important because, after all, serious youth academies would need to be maintained and salaries paid, etc. :)

Wrong.... The main thing that many dont consider farmers do in their money wheel, is to cut expenses on player detoriation (that old players lose value).... If you compete and train now, you need to make just as much in training then losing on old players to make ends meet. So if you could train more players, farmers would still gain much more in value then those competing fully, because they dont lose money on old players... Farming would by the end of the day still be gaining more value then competitive players, so i think that the idea of age limiting spots is great. Maybe even going so far to make 6 u21 and 6 u28 spots, would help a lot on the farming problem.

First of all people are selling youths that would be their best / most valuable players, even if we give people 18 training slots it won't change the fact that in most cases they will sell their best youths, so farmers / traders / whatever will always have lots of players to buy

and the only limitation for traders / farmers in the game is the number of training slots... so yeah, go ahed, give them 8 more slots to make money on, I'm sure they will cry :))
2026-02-07 22:25:02
Im not rooting for 8 more slots (dont know if you meant to address to me)....

My best shot to changing number of training spots would be 12 with max of 6 u21.... That would handicap farmers a lot and at same time help on squad size problems....
