Is it confirmed that the international cup will be leaving arcade mode for next season? Need to know whether Im going to need a bigger squad.
Kinda prefer it stay arcade now. I mean, I can have a bigger squad but it'll just be a bunch of scrub players I'll fire afterwards.
This game isn't affordable otherwise. Yes, I know, Raul wants to bleed the coffers of the rich, but guess what - it's going to send the rest of us into bankruptcy.

If the calculations for sponsorship, fanclub members etc. is done well, this will actually make it a bit fairer on a world scale financial wise, and you may find you bring in more money. But if the scales are still tipped in favour of the National Leaague/Cup results, then whilst there will still be a slight improvement, it won't be as much as required.
There's no reason this should cause anyone to go bankrupt. If prices of players are too high (and would cause bankruptcy), then people will stop buying and prices will come down.
The top player will still go for huge amounts, because there are a lot of people who have clubs that are 20yrs old, and the devs have failed to implement any strategies to manage old bank accounts and the throwing of unlimited funds towards a player, but the rest of the players should be affordable in a way which you are on level with those from your country

yep
I dont want to deviate, but for me it looks like they have applied some changes in youth school, now there are more young players (16/17) which will allow all teams to develop more players from younger age and no need to wait 1 decent player every season (win the lottery). I comment this because in this way the distribution of decent players will increase (what I agree with Juyt) and it will allow teams to be more competitive without needing to to big investments. So in the long run I think this combination is very good. As I have mentioned 1 update on the game might break something else, but doing many complementary updates is really good
Congrats again to the dev team

so, I am just being lucky, I am getting much more 16/17 yrs old which is great
I've continued to get nothing but trash talent in my school since temporarily giving it a second chance this season.
Can confirm.
Can confirm.
Also for me, as number of players to keep this entire season, but with only one junior I am making over 6 mil euro.
So, in the end, to keep the school was not a bad idea, with 2-5mil earnings every season.
On topic:
I am just waiting for the new season to start and, considering that I will be in four official competitions next season, I should probably take some juniors to train ;)

If I recall correctly, those playing in the junior matches have more accurate talent data (ie their skill level shown is more likely to be accurate). If I am correct, you are sabotaging yourself with predicted talents of your youths by now allowing enough juniors to stay, to get a good prediction of talent.
Also schools take time to develop. They aren't a "turn on, turn off" kind of thing. Given the longest youths could take 2.5 seasons, and it takes time to get the number of youths that high, probably looking at a good 3-4 seasons before having that stable flow of "decent" youths.
Now whether youth school is worth it or not, differs for everyone and their reasons for having one, but you aren't doing yourself any favours. Sometimes keeping some duds is worth it for the others

Will the trophies earned in this first season of arcade mode be kept in the club's gallery?
Also notice that France is now in final for the 3 first cups ;)
Final, here we go!!!
Will be hard against a much stronger rival that perform 10 points more, but we have faith.
ps. what are the odds, both my opponent and me, having a MMA fighter holding belts as PFP?

I had YS for 5 seasons and made 125k dollars.
I got one player good enough to train out of it, and this was only because his initial sale value was under 200k (predicted by a person I trust).
It's been nothing but a money pit for me, and if this keeps up for another couple seasons, I'm giving up for good.
Apparently, I'm not blessed enough to be a sokker trust fund baby like a couple other players in my country.
