Subject: [DEV] International Cup
winner4739 already pointed out that IC title is level 1, no matter if you won it at lowest level.
I also hope that icon will be changed, currently is from national cup...
its a progress :D

After long time first injury ı got at new International Cup match :D
That's the catch with the International Cup. You get training for an additional official game, but also the injury risk.
we have enough games to get needed training if we have more slots to fill then it will make sense ...
We already have a thread for discussing injuries: https://sokker.org/forum_topic/ID_forum/63355/ID_topic/3547623/pg/1
There's no point in flooding this thread too.

Actualy it is very needed to talk about injuries and approach towards this IC in this topic here, because DEVs will follow opinions during this season and might make adjustments.
This IC completely changes the situation with injuries. IMO it makes it impossible for most users to be competitive on all fronts and such big number of injuries is basically forcing most users to approach IC as a "better friendly". Already seen lots of teams using youths or getting their first team players injured before league. Combined with almost lack of impact on fan mood - I can only see IC becoming a "6 extra training games" for most and a competition only for the most rich.
IC injuries will impact league result too much as it is and since league results make up ~80% of fan mood... well it's pretty obvious what most teams should do.

<Drunken reply >There is nothing to adjust with injuries. You need to have wider team to compete. Something something that Dtox9 said about team. Something something that Raul said about weaker and less divine players. All is good </Drunken reply>
Skipping this cup. Used my 1 PLN players for this match and no injuries XD

I don't know why so much complaining. We know what the cup is and its up to us decide how to manage the challenge.
At least in my cup group everyone seemed to have taken it seriously, so I don't buy the "better friendly" narrative.
Good start for us, 4-3 victory on a crazy fun game. Come on!!

Made 429 688 k.$. which is more than I got in majority of my premier league games, so that is nice.
I've actually decided to ditch my national cup for this.
Going to see if it's better economically.

I think this analisys is pretty close to perfect! IC will be for the few that can take the risk... the 90% will play it as a "friendly" in the long run cause is impossible to play all fronts for the avrage users
Most teams will play as normal. The people, like us, who do corner friendlies will be the smart ones.
I'm just happy I'm in a group I can finish top 2 in. With National Cup always having poor money unless you finish in the top 8 in my country, the money is bad. A fellow ML team is in the same division/tier I am (4). He hosted a game today and it looks like he made around 350k in stadium sales. He prices aggressively, too.
I'm thinking economically doing this instead of the Cup (unless you could actually win it) is the more logical play.
