I am a property manager in Pretoria, South Africa.
I am a father and husband. 2 Daughters.
I like jogging / running and run about 6 kilometers 3 times a week.
I also like to play golf and is a 12 handicap.
I never played football (soccer), but love watching it. I started playing this game in my 20's... I was bored at work one day and "googled" Online Football Management Games. I came across Sokker...started playing the game and never left :)
At school I was a good athlete and ran the 800 meters. My best time was 1 minute 53 seconds at under 16 age group and qualified for National Championships where I ended 4th in South Africa at under 16 level. Unfortunately, I then injured my knee badly in a rugby match and didn't return to athletics.
Rugby Union is my favorite sport to play and watch and I played the flank position. Although I wasn't the best player and don't play it anymore ( I am too old now :), I still love watching it my favourite teams are the Springboks (South Africa) and Stormers.

_In Real life, which club do you support in your country ?

I support a few teams in different countries :) England = Blackburn Rovers, Italy = Juventus, Spain = Barcelona, Germany = Schalke04,
_Why?
I used to watch a premier league highlites show with my friends in the early 90's when we were still in school. All my friends started supporting Manchester United. I wanted to support a different team and really started liking Blackburn Rovers, because they had the same kit style (Blue and White Halves) that my school did. If memory serves me correct. Blackburn came second in the premier league in the season I started supporting them and then won the premier league the next season. I now have a few Blackburn Rovers jerseys and still support them even though they are not in the Premier League anymore.
_Are you gonna follow the World Cup?
Yes, definitely. I hope South Africa and Italy do well.
_How did you know Sokker?
It came up in google results as mentioned above
_Do you enjoy it?
Yes, I am not very committed and only log in when I get time, but it is fun to play and feels like I am carrying the whole South Africa on my shoulders, so there is a responsibility to keep it going that I can't let go. Hopefully we can get more committed users in South Africa.
_Since how many time are you playing it?
I can't remember. I think I started playing it in 2008?
_How much on a week?
I try to log in every Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, but with the change in schedules, I might have to change it up a bit.
_If you could implement something new in this game, what should it be ?
Sometimes the players just run out of the field, with no pressure on them. Or the defenders clear the ball out, with no pressure on them. This needs to be fixed.

_What are you living with it? is it easy? hard?
Easy in South Africa. Hard when I play in the International Cups
_What is your aim with your club?
The biggest goal is to get quality young players for the NT's. Also, to keep winning the league and Cup, but I won't mind some more competition, of that means we have a stronger NT
_Did you win any trophy?
A lot :) I win the league and cup in South Africa most seasons

Africa have very good players that play for the best clubs around the world.
_Did you follow the AFCON by the past ?
Yes of course. I support Bafana Bafana (South Africa)

Mo Salah, Osimhen, Mazrahoui, Foster, Hakimi

Nobody else was candidating for the job, so I had to pull in a vote for myself :) Also, I feel I need to keep the NT alive.
_Can you tell us something about your team?
We have some decent players, but most of them are getting a bit old.
_Its better player?
We seem to have a lot of world class goalkeepers. Palesa, Stars, etc.
_What is your goal with this team ? Is it just an opportunity for a year ? Or do you want to work for a long time?
I want to basically keep the NT going and if we manage to improve the squad and get some superstar players through, it would be great. The goal is the long term health of the South Africa NT squad, but I will gladly step aside if there is a more qualified and experienced NT manager that want to manage the South Africa team
_For the observers of "sokker Africa", with potential, South Africa deserve more, how can you explain your recent results?
Like I said, I am basically the only committed manager in South Africa. This means we are only one, maybe 2 managers that have a functioning academy. This makes it very hard to build a squad depth. Our results are not great, but we surprise some teams. Hopefully we can continue to grow and find some superstars that can take us further
_Is there actions to resolve it ?
In a perfect world, we will have 10 committed managers with academies and good training, but we simply don't have it. Unless we are able to bring in new committed users (Managers) I don't see is improving greatly soon, but I will keep trying as long as I am here :)
_By the past, South Africa played 3 times the World Cup, is it a goal for you?
It would be a bonus, but no, it is not a priority to play in the world cup at the moment. I am just trying to build squad depth. Maybe in a few seasons, yes.
_What is your goal for this AFCON?
The goal is to make the semi-finals. Anything else will be a bonus.
_South African supporters are wondering if you'll be able to lead the team all the Championship long? Refering to the last years and the points you lost without playing.
Yes, I should be able to. I had some health issues that prevented me from setting up some friendlies at times, but as long as I am healthy, I should be able to lead the team.
_What are the favorites teams ?
Senegal, will win :)
