Cameroon is out for the next day...

We can't seriously continue with managers involved in a tournament without following the thread on the dedicated forum.

Sorry but it will the last time for me organizing such event and maybe the last for Algeria like ours managers asked me.

wtf Cameroon ...not good
Can I organizze a friendly on my own for this week?
2026-04-14 15:31:59
It's sad, it's unfortunate that they don't take it seriously.
2026-04-14 15:34:19
Everyone should be happy if someone organizes and puts things in order.

Yes you can.

In the future, I think it will be time to put an end to this tournament...

Unfortunately, too few African managers are present ,interested, involved, or participate... Where are the Moroccan coaches? Nigerian coaches? Egyptian coaches? Tunisian coaches? And others? Even the Senegalese coaches? Some of these managers have been involved in the game for years...

This tournament is made for them, to showcase them, to give them visibility... But nothing in return... So why continue? I personally contacted several active managers from these countries to ask them to comment on this thread... NOTHING... Despite the message being read.

Around me, Algerian coaches are asking me to stop our participation in the future, arguing that ultimately, it's a waste of time, points, and energy for us... I'm starting to think like them.

Well, I am very disappointed and tired of seeing how this event has been handled for seasons and I don't even blame the foreign coaches who come to lead these teams, I blame Africa for doing nothing to get out of this situation.

In conclusion, I will see this tournament through to the end, with much less enthusiasm and involvement than planned, and this will be the last one for us, NT A and U21. Thank you.

It's not easy. There's not much activity. It's strange anyway. You've done everything, but if you haven't a partner in it, you can't do anything. Of course, I understand and accept your point of view.

It would be best to try to organize it in the form of a friendly tournament, and it would be something like a semi-official Africa Cup of Nations. A very nice event, but… some of the managers don’t take it seriously.

However, more players like this are needed—more engagement overall. It would also be a great idea if the Nigeria national team were actually managed by a Nigerian; there would certainly be many supporters of such a solution in the country. As for me, I’m here more incidentally, basically on the recommendation of Staszek Maliniak (U21 Nigeria).

It was already the case my friend, it was always a friendly tournament played in a good mood but...you found the reason.

Regardless of who leads the team, nature abhors a vacuum; what matters is the commitment of the local community behind its team and, above all, asking the "existential question" of this game: "What are we doing here?" and stopping playing half-heartedly.

Coach Pavelo for Nigeria, Welcome !

_Are you ready for this match?

After the recent friendly matches, those played before the Africa Cup of Nations tournament, I believe that the Nigeria national team is stronger and can significantly move up in the senior national team rankings. The matches showed that there is real potential in this squad that hasn’t been fully unlocked in recent seasons. Even though I’ve been managing the team for only three weeks, I’ve gotten to know the players quite well, their abilities, I’ve adjusted the tactics, and I believe we are capable of causing an upset during this tournament.

Did you prepare something special ?

We definitely have some tactical plans that could surprise our opponent a bit, however, I can’t talk about them. What I can say is that we will play slightly differently than before, as this is a particularly important match for us. We respect the quality of our opponent, so we need to stay focused and motivated.

_Optimistic or Not ?

I don’t know if I’d say I’m optimistic, but I definitely believe in our abilities.

What do you know about your opponent?

I believe that Kenya is a very well-organized team, especially now that it is managed by ClouneyG, who has exactly 20 years of experience in this game, and leading a team in the Polish III league is certainly a solid achievement. I expect some surprises from this side, so we need to stay alert, not allow ourselves to be outplayed, and be ready for any scenario.

A pronostic ?

I don’t want to make any predictions, as it could put unnecessary pressure on the players, create too many expectations, and also reveal to the opponent how I approach this match — something I’d rather avoid… we’ll see! As the saying goes, there’s only one ball and two goals!

_A little word for the other coach?

With full respect to the other coach, I believe in my team. I don’t wish you good luck, but may the best team win!

" Coach ClouneyG, Welcome !

_Are you ready for this match?

I was born ready! After their recent victory against Morocco, the Kenyan team is optimistic about the future and is eager for the match against Nigeria.

_Have you prepared anything special?

We sent a spy to the Nigerian team to check their tactics. This spy's name is Balarabe Akwuegbu But seriously, I don't really have time for tactical experiments, but I'll try to shake things up a bit, or at least see how Nigeria has been doing lately.

_Optimist or not?

Always an optimist!

_What do you know about your opponent?

I know last season wasn't a success for Nigeria, but they won their last three matches and probably want to win the next one. We won't let that happen!

_Prognostic?

2-1 for Kenya

_A word to the second coach?

Good luck, and may the best team win. And nice logo of Zalesianka Zalesie.

Thanks !
