Does it have any influence on the players in a match?
Does a puddle of water in the pitch can disturb a player?

I think it only affects the amount of people in the stadium....

I don't know if this is correct, but I seeing a lot of rainy matches and comparing I have the impression that it can also affect passes and ball speed. No idea if it could have some negative effect in the Stamina of players.

the ball and players noticably slow down in the puddles

I think that there is an effect on technique too, players seem to misplay the ball more

players seem to tire more quickly in the heat too

there is nothing said officailly, but those are my observations

I make more substitutions on hot days and stay away from longball tactics on muddy days and I seem to win a lot of those games

i think the same al tough i'm a neewbie here, i had seemed that my tech players preform badly on soggy grounds
