Guacamole, I have a tip for you: go to clickteam.com
and put all in an installer :-)
and put all in an installer :-)
The install being: Download the file (required anyway even if i have an installer) and put the 2 files into a directory... That's it. Think it'd be that helpful to have an installer?
Hmm, maybe in a later phase. :-)
If you come with something revolutionairy :-)

What about English English? I'd leave someone like Qpegasus for the Scottish English ;).
please sk-mail me with what happens when you try to download, the specific screen being shown and the specific error message. I don't currently know of a single user that is having problems using the program unless they have internet firewall issues (ie if you can't get to online.sokker.org, you can't use sokker manager)
Update on multi-language: I'm ready to go. Sending the new SM app to Arnau (as soon as i get his email addy) for him to do spanish first. Then i'll send it to the other linguists...
Chose Spanish first since Arnau and i both have MSN or Yahoo so i can quickly add translation tokens as he sees them. I should have caught most screens tho.
Edit: Still need a LOT of languages, especially POLISH :)

(anyway - if you can't be there tomorrow, send it to mail [you already know it :)])

Ok, now that the multi-language version is done (well in the hand of the linguists at least, while awaiting arnau's input on areas i missed as well), i'm doing the lineup tool.
Of course, the first step is to define position multipliers for each stat.
I was gonna do it a little differently than the assistant by breaking out different types of positions. Please look at the attached JPG to see how i was doing it.
I'd love feedback on:
1) Any changes to the types of positions i define (Is defender (defensive) called a sweeper?) Any new ones?
2) Any tweaks to the initial default weightings you'd suggest? OBVIOUSLY everyone will have their own opinions here, but i just tossed the weightings out to get input, so feel free to comemnt and see if we can get a "at least i can live with that" type of consensus.

For goalkeepers I use:
Pace: 9%
Passing: 5%
Keeping: 80%
Form: 6%
This works pretty well, but I'm thinking of decreasing keeping to 75%.

The value you are using for pace is definitely too high. This means that keeping should be higher.
I would disagree, I think the pace rating could go higher, as much as 12%
But then it's all relative to the level of keeping also.
Very difficult to have just one 'weightings' per position. Unless you just create a deafult weighting and let it be fully user adjustable?
