Agree. Def is too low for central midfielder. And a wing you could have had for at least 2 500 000 $ less.

I know....I wish his def was a bit higher...but when you think about it how often do the midfielders tackle an opposing player in a match? That's if you're playing at a top level like I am.

Just told NIC that he is worth around 7-7,3 million euros. So 1 million robbed, but is it too much if you really want the guy? 1 million robbed is much for a player worth 1 million euros, but for a 7 million-euro-worth player, I don't care if the price is 8 million in the end, if I'm satisfied with the player I purchased.

A lot. From my experience probably even more than any other kind of player.

Really? From my experience when you're facing magical+ playmakers they get rid of the ball before my mid can get close to him (even if my mid is perfectly positioned). Only exception to this is the throw ins where a def skill is very important to your mids and it can be a game changer

Or when receiving passes, or goal kicks, or any other situation where your mid will be positioned next to yor opponent's mid and will have an opportunity to tackle him. Besides, your midfielders will not just be dealing with other mids though. There are also strikers. :)

I got 5 defs plus a def mid to deal with strikers :)). Goal kicks are usually headed away and def skill plays no part in that (I think)

for comparison, I bought this player last season ( so he was 24 ) for 6.5M...
So the price of your player looks ok for me..

yeah but he is not as good as the one he bought.
