There is also a world of difference between divine and magical/brilliant....... a 2x17 pace/tech striker against a 2x15 def is creating chances like once in a lifetime..... the difference between unearthly passing or brilliant for winger is also essential..... so yes there is big price gap.... also divine in anything age 24-26 normally takes 8+ weeks..... from magical to divine in one season is fast... :)

I have 16-16, 16-15 and 16-15 in main skills defenders (both magical close to skill up though), and know im gonna give away many more chances because of it, because i choose to have 11+ sideskills

11 secondaries? the price is like 2x divine with 7-8 secs? 11 are kinda big i guess.

yes but mean when u do get the ball they can even play through passes to strikers.
means you have to have your defence slightly deeper usually to face attackers straight on though.
depends what people like.,
no point defenders winning the ball then kicking it straight out of play again giving it back to opposition ;)

Sure, tactically they are called ball playing defenders but it depends how much they will succesfully tackle.Is it better to pass precisely rare or often just bullet the ball in the front and expect your player will pick it up. we are taking about 7-8 skills vs 11 so they shouldnt often kick out.
