It is a dutch word, but don't know if it is used in other countries also.

it means giant in denmark

if you add an "e" at the end it means "huge" in spanish.

used in all germanic languages, as well as in english with enormous and in french enorme, spanish same word other pronounciation. My latin is pretty bad but I assume it is a latin word.
