first time i saw that effect on logos made by Armeniak ...after that i checked some tutorials about the "glossy effect" ...the rest is history :)) ...

I have a new team name and need a new logo.

Name: Fjorden Flipperi
Teamcolours: Blue (See the colour of the jersey on the kid on my emblem now)
Following would be nice in a logo: The areacode "5071" and some graffiti. I would like it ghetto inspired.
