But sum of the skills is 31. Usually it's YS level(x) x3=the sum of the skills, so as a very good he should have 27 points. So on, I think it's something like a bit over excellent, about 10.3-10.4.
2011-12-01 16:31:14
Who has said the x3 formule? I'm sure it depends a lot of the heigth of the level.
2011-12-01 16:33:25
If you take a look at fresh pull juniors and count their equal sum, and then x3 the YS level, you'll see.
2011-12-01 16:40:07
Groene Smurf is right...It really depends on how heigh the skills are (and also on which skills: I sometimes have the feeling that pace takes a lot of skillpoints away)
2011-12-01 16:45:34
True, pulled and outstanding youthplayer with excellent pace, and his sum of skillpoints is really low. Just to show (and yeah, i know he's not future NT!):

value: 102 250 €, wage: 1 425 €,

poor [3] stamina hopeless [1] keeper
excellent [10] pace hopeless [1] defender
hopeless [1] technique very good [9] playmaker
tragic [0] passing good [7] striker

So this one would only be excellent in mysi's theory..
2011-12-01 16:49:03
Of course that can be true as well, I'm not saying that Groene's theory is wrong. I'm just saying that usually that x3 theory is true, at least for the players I've seen.

And remember, nowadays youth coaches are kinda just guessing the level of juniors. :P

I'm 100% sure he was at least formidable :) But you're right. And anyways, even for this player the 'x3' theory is not too far off.
2011-12-01 17:08:29
its x3,15.... i saw someone who made data on a lot of pulls in old school system and got it to 3.15.... i tried the theory on all the juniors i pulled after that (still in old school system) and it where always very accurate.... just cant remember which thread in this forum i saw it in.. :(
2011-12-01 17:10:04
but of course can vary a bit because of subskill......
2011-12-01 17:23:44
x3.2 is more acurate :)
2011-12-01 17:24:09
didn't read your post :)
2011-12-01 17:35:55
it fluctuates somewhat because in any case all the skills are rounded too.
2011-12-01 18:12:41
my personal opinion is that its pie times junior leaving level, but because of sub skills i just say 3.2 as well ;)
2011-12-01 18:26:42
2. unsatisfactory / 1 / 3 / 3,3
3. poor / 1 / 9 / 9,9
4. weak / 1 / 13 / 13,13
5. average / 7 / 11-18 / 15,71110
6. adequate / 14 / 16-21 / 18,57260
7. good / 39 / 12-27 / 20,80811
8. solid / 37 / 19-29 / 23,73878
9. very good / 39 / 20-34 / 27,511073
10. excellent / 37 / 26-34 / 30,731137
11. formidable / 23 / 30-39/ 33,87779
12. outstanding / 13 / 29-40 / 36,69477
13. incredible / 8 / 39-43 / 41,12329
14. brilliant / 2 /37- 46 / 41,583
15. magical / 2 / 44 / 44,88
17. divine / 1 / 58 / 58

those were stats i had saved.. there is only small amount of data..
and yes. higher skills really do take a lot more of the skillpoints.. hence why magical was similar to brilliant and incredible etc..

the numbers do suggest though 3 points per lever for sure
